We placed our order at 11:42 and it took until 12:20 to get our lunch order today! This was my first visit to this restaurant, and it will be my last. When you have such a simple menu, how can you take so long to serve!!! We ended up having to take it to go, because who has more than... More

Friends recommended before Jets game. We all had chicken fingers, first it is kind of a weird mix, chicken fingers and Chinese, but it works. I had 5 chicken fingers with fried rice ( instead of fries ) also comes with slaw and nice dipping sauce, I started off with the consume soup which was very good. The chicken fingers... More

My wife remembers cold winters in Winnipeg with a certain fondness. One great boon of the dark months there, as elsewhere, is the circle of parties that keep spirits high. One of the boons of those parties, I'm reliably told, was always chicken fingers from Mitzi's. When I found myself in Winnipeg recently, and learned my hotel was a block... More

Stopped for take-away on a night when the Jets were playing. The place was packed with people in jerseys heading for the game - lots of families. The stadium is only a couple of blocks away. Well known for its chicken fingers. Had a chicken and beef take away that had mushrooms and bean sprouts. All of the meat had... More

Mitzi's Chicken Finger Restaurant is definitely on the top of my list for chicken fingers. The meal comes with fries and cole slaw and a dipping sauce. The service was very good. The place was full at lunch so that shows the food is good. Decorating is definitely vintage.

Just an interesting array of good food. Chicken to Chinese with many options and combo plates. Service was great - food was delivered fast and hot. I found the vegetables and rice very tasty ! Although we were lucky and the restaurant was not extremely busy as it sometimes can be! It has a long history in Winnipeg and maybe... More

On Saturday my husband and I went to Mitzis for the very first time. We went because my sister-in-law had been there many times and wanted us to try it. Before we went I read some of the reviews. My husband and I wanted to try a little of everything, so we ordered Combo B (chicken balls, shrimp balls, rice... More

Went for the first time because I've heard about the chicken fingers been the best anyone's ever had. I disagree. They were hot but there is no seasoning on the fingers, the fries were a little undercooked as well. The soup before the meal was a nice surprise and probably the best part of my meal.
