Had to go twice in 5 day trip. Bar is very cool, great staff and cocktails. They have the coldest ice room in the world for vodka tasting- but why would you really need to do that in Canada? :-) However, food was incredible and the wine sommelier had great suggestions for pairing, and was nearly a friend by the... This is a great dining location , the menu and charges are all a bit confusing and probably why it's only rated as a 4 ,but I couldn't fault the food ,wine , service or overall attention We sabred twice in the cellar Next time I'll come back and book a cellar party I'm really surprised this isn't in the... We dined here on New Year's Eve. This place is a big rip off. We were not told upon booking the cost would be $98 per head, not a huge fuss, it was NYE, but the food was just OK, nothing spectacular. There was only Moet (and another) champagne on offer on the night, at $45 per glass (can't remember... More

Yes the food is excellent but there is much more. Probably the most interesting is the Vodka Ice Room. This room is chilled to well below freezing and is stocked with several choices of vodka. You are outfitted with a down coat and treated to a selection of vodkas chilled insanley cold. Then there is the regular bar with a... More

I cant give you a good review of booking and ordering a full meal at the table but can give you an off the street review. We popped in without a reservation on a busy night during wine fest, we were a party of 5. We were offered seats at the bar and the bar menu, hoping a table would... More

The food and service were excellent, but you have to order three or five course meal. There is a base cost for the meal, but most of the courses for your selection require additional pay. By the end, this was the most expensive dinner meal in Whistler.

We had heard conflicting reports about this restaurant so went to see for ourselves - result?: far too expensive for what was on offer, detached staff, lamb shanks that were so tough you needed a steak-knife (not provided), quite cool and in general one of the worst meals any of us had experienced....anywhere.

I ate there on december 31st and ate the three course menu, all the plates were divine. The waiter was super thoughtful and explained all our doubts.

Cocktails at the bar is a must on a trip to Whistler, impressive range and excellent bar foot. Jason the bar man was awesome, his service and explanation were top class. Avoid the Ozzi bar maid if you can.

The place is excellent in service. The food is comparable to a good restaurant, wonder why they called it a "bistro ". The prices are upmarket too. If you want an excellence service & good food then pay this place a visit.
