Ask a local in Whistler which is their favourite restaurant and this is clearly number one. For me it was very consistent. Everything was ok - service/food/decor/price. Not one that I would rush back to but ok.

A very cozy restaurant with higher-end dining (for Whistler). Here's what we ordered: - lobster bisque: more creamy than most lobster bisques I've had but it was still delicious. Had chunks of lobster meat. - ceviche: good sized portion for an appetizer. tasty but could've...More

This is our favorite restaurant in the Whistler area. We've been a number of times and it doesn't ever disappoint. We were there recently once again and appreciate the seasonal changes to the menu and impeccable service. Definitely a great date night spot.

We come to The Rim Rock every time we are in Whistler. Dinner was excellent. Steak wasn't the best, a bit tough, and my husbands lamb was over cooked, but everything else was great.

We caught the end of the $49 special and it was delicious. I think they should do another 3 course special! For us the portions are large and very tasty!

We always head here for a special occasion. The food and service has always exceeded our expectations. It can be difficult to get a reservation but they allow drop ins at the bar and you can usually get a seat. A must visit if you...More

Rim rock usually books up months before the holiday season. Unless you have already secured a reservation i would not count on getting in. It is their busiest time of year.

Description
In its 23rd year, the Rimrock Café has delighted diners with its innovative, fresh cuisine and emphasis on the finest fish and game, artfully prepared with inventiveness and flair. The restaurant is consistently recognized as a local’s favorite for atmosphere, service and a sublime eating experience. Behind the large glass window of our lit cellar, all manner of wines from the glamorous and recognizable to the intriguing and new seem to hum seductively. Two fireplaces cast an ambient glow over the chatter and energy of our rustic dining room. In summer, enjoy your meal on a sunny patio. The seafood antipasto for two is the perfect start to your meal. Stunning presentation meets succulent, vibrant flavor among the six exquisite tasters. Try our Venison tenderloin, served with a porcini cream and homemade spatzle. For the seafood lover, our main course Trio is a harmony of seared Ahi, nut crusted Sablefish and grilled prawns. Complete your meal with Whistler's favorite desert.
