This was the dinner where the children were given room service and put in front of the TV back at the hotel. All 5 adults in our party had a great time here. Food was the best we had in Whistler all week - very fresh, beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. The wine list had a good eclectic mix and... More

We absolutely loved this restaurant. My wife even said it is her favourite of all time. We ordered a lot of food as we like to try many things especially when the menu is this good. For appetizer we shared the mussels, the scallops with pork belly and the special which was caribou. The caribou was cooked to perfection and... More

When price is no object and you want an incredible dining experience this is the place to do that in Whistler. Never disappointed after many visits. Have the fresh oysters, the meat trio, fillet steak, rack of lamb, halibut or the seafood trio and the desert sampler too. Take your hotel shuttle or a cab there and back so you can drink cocktails... For the last 3 years we have undertaken a restaurant tour of Whistler. Generally involves 8-10 restaurants. After a disappointing 2016 experience it was with trepidation that we returned. Thankfully we can report that Rim Rock has been returned to the pantheon as the best restaurant in Whistler. Our 2017 rankings were 1. Rim Rock 2. Il Caminetto 3. Red... More

The Rim Rock has been a family favourite for years now. We recently had dinner here and we were once again just blown away by the amazing food! The lobster bisque.. oh I could write love poems describing the taste of this bisque. I would literally eat only this bisque! You get it.. We had an amazing piece of venison... More

We decided to spend this sunny Friday at Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. After a few hours on the top via the peak 2 peak gondolas, it was time to have dinner. Reviews in trip advisor pointed towards the Rim Rock Cafe & Oyster Bar as the #1 restaurant in the area. First thing that we love about the place is... More

On a ski weekend stopped here in the bar, great menu. Lots of choices; went the seafood route and was not disappointed. One of the best meals ever. Sitting at the bar, the service was excellent as were the cocktails and wine.

Amazing food and even better service! Highly recommend it! We will be back there at least one more time for the amazing halibut special! Not to mention the toffee sticky cake for dessert!

Description
In its 23rd year, the Rimrock Café has delighted diners with its innovative, fresh cuisine and emphasis on the finest fish and game, artfully prepared with inventiveness and flair. The restaurant is consistently recognized as a local’s favorite for atmosphere, service and a sublime eating experience. Behind the large glass window of our lit cellar, all manner of wines from the glamorous and recognizable to the intriguing and new seem to hum seductively. Two fireplaces cast an ambient glow over the chatter and energy of our rustic dining room. In summer, enjoy your meal on a sunny patio. The seafood antipasto for two is the perfect start to your meal. Stunning presentation meets succulent, vibrant flavor among the six exquisite tasters. Try our Venison tenderloin, served with a porcini cream and homemade spatzle. For the seafood lover, our main course Trio is a harmony of seared Ahi, nut crusted Sablefish and grilled prawns. Complete your meal with Whistler's favorite desert.
