We had breakfast here because it was close to our hotel. I found it delicious and cooked perfectly, with portions so generous I wasn't able to finish everything. Service was perfect, atmosphere delightful.

We used to regularly visit Victoria and always made sure we went here for dinner. Used to be Chilean restaurant but did not realize it has changed to a Mexican Restaurant. Unfortunately we were looking forward to the food remembered but were disappointed with the selection and the quality of the food. Used to be our favourite place but would... More

We arrived at Santiago's for dinner with anticipation. The restaurant only has a Facebook page which does not have a menu so we went based on the memory of delicious and well prepared mains. There were a few others in the restaurant. We received a nice welcome and were invited to choose where we wanted to sit. Right away we... More

Simply terrible, limited menu, overpriced. Not sure why our relative picked this place. Skip for dinner.

We've been to this restaurant off and on over the last 5 years as we live in Victoria. The last two experiences have been average and I felt like having South American food and wanted to give the place another try. We went in for dinner on a Friday night around dinner time which in Victoria in April is the... More

Hot buttered salsa? The polenta was good, but hot buttered salsa required explanation! I think this is all about expectations, at first glance it seemed like a Mexican restaurant but it really wasn't. Is this why the sign said "mexicano restaurant" and not Mexican or Tex-mex? Menu was somewhat limited and food was just OK, not great. Service was good.... More

This is one of our go to places for breakfast and sometimes lunch or dinner. The food is tasty and very fresh....at breakfast the eggs are that lovely deep yellow/orange colour. The service is always prompt and friendly. It's a great spot to have a meal if you want to wander downtown and take in the sights. Take the kids... More

This is a nicely decorated restaurant, with friendly staff, in an excellent location close to the Harbour area. The food was alright, I had the Burrito (they didn't have Enchilada's), and my wife had the Empanada's. The thing is, I always like to have the typical Mexican sides of Spanish or Fried rice & beans. Santiago's sides were tacos (the... More

We were looking for an early dinner and spotted the Happy Hour sign. The ceviche was quite good although the portion seemed a bit small for the price and the beer reasonable. However the atmosphere seemed downbeat, there was no one else in the place and the staff were behind us loudly discussing something from the previous night, not seeming... More
