A lovely little tea room, decorated with Royalty plates and pictures. We had fresh baked scones and coffee. Some patrons were having breakfast which looked quite good, Others were having tea served from crochet covered tea pots. A most relaxing place to stop.

Great little tea room. Everything is always nice and fresh (home baked) just what you want in a tea cafe. Very close to BC Museum and we always stop by after a visit.

My friends and I went here for high tea. Most had never had it. We ordered two full teas and one small tea (just desserts) and two extra pots of tea and the five of us still had a small box of treats to take...More

Having had a dismal experience several years ago, after many many years of excellent experiences, we decided to go back and see if anything had changed. The place looks much better, but it has really lost the olde British feel. The food was fine -...More

I haven't been here for years after my eggs benedict hollandaise made me seriously wonder if they had inadvertently used chicken gravy. I love the little building and heard over the past couple of years it has new owners so decided to give it another...More

We have visited the James Bay tea room many times and continue to enjoy the experience. It is in a good location and very reasonably priced.

The cost is about $30 for a pot of tea and the 'Daily Tea'. This includes a two layer plate of sandwiches, baked items and fruit. I will post a picture of it on Trip Advisor.
