Being English we are not familiar with the 'no reservation but put your name down and come back when texted system'! When we arrived at the restaurant we were unable to eat for an hour. Luckily for us that was not a problem as we...More

Waited out front in the cold to get an early seating as have enjoyed previous meals here and was happy to try it again. This time the minute the door was unlocked and people converged there was an overwhelming putrid smell of old mop buckets...More

Sorry you didn't enjoy our service. At 5'9" and 200 lbs (maybe a bit more), I'd hardly describe myself as a small man (Stats Can has the average height of a Canadian Male Adult at 5'9 1/2 ") Marc

Large group. That could be a problem given this place doesn't take reservations - you line up and await the doors which open at ~5:30pm. I got there just after 4:30 and was the only one in the line until just before 5:00. Service for...More

Ambiance is a little scarce, but perhaps that's the intention; a little French minimalist. Steak was great, but my friend, much to his disappointment, who also ordered the same had a much smaller cut than mine. A received a centre cut from the loin and...More

Spent a lovely evening in this restaurant - yep, it's a pain that they don't take bookings, so just plan on going earlier and having a drink at a local brewpub while you wait. Not difficult! Dates stuffed with Roquefort & walnuts were moorish. The...More

We lined up at 5:00 pm to ensure that we could get the 5:30 seating, as the restaurant only has room for 40 persons. However the day was nice. As everyone is ordering at once, and being admitted altogether, service is a little sporadic, and...More

Fine dining at mid-range prices. Perfectly executed dishes are nicely presented. Lacks pretension, has quality and charm in abundance.

SO I've been to a brasserie or two in my 38 years and this is exactly the experience I want every time. We had a big brunch about 8 hours earlier, but had walked over every last inch of Victoria on a 24 hour hour...More

No valet parking. You have to park on the street or in the parking near by. Also you have to be there early for the first seating at 5.30pm or you will have to wait until 7.00 pm next seating. No reversation taken.
