I admire the effort of building a restaurant in blood alley. It is not as sketchy as you think. simple room. Simple concept. I like it. Chose your charcuterie, chose your cheese and your wine. Sit back and enjoy.

Seriously the most dishonest "restaurant" I have ever been to. The charcuterie was nothing more than a few slices of whatever you can obtain from your local grocer. You can go to any corner store in Italy and find superior everything. Yes this is just...More

Great little place, look for the upside down salt shaker as it's located in an alley so not easy to spot. Great premise, enjoyable meal. The menu is hard to navigate as only on wall in chalk with no explanations of what types of meat...More

A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and

being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many
plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell
the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's
history a more lively presence here than anywhere
else. Having been originally founded around a popular
worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of

I am not sure what wineries have tasting rooms in Vancouver, if any. Many restaurants in Vancouver do carry BC wines though and they offer many by the glass so you can try them before committing.
