Two-month wait for a reservation. What a disappointment. Heard the chef left - it sure showed. Went on a Friday night, table for two. Staff all dressed super casual/hipster, with zero warmth or personality. Negroni poured out of a pre-mix wine bottle - lame. Kale...More

So you may not live the hip decor or the hipster serving stay (not that the service has ever been bad) in this trendy Vancouver restaurant but the food has blown my mind on 4 visits over the last year. The flavours, the originaluty and...More

Difficult to remember everything we ate and drank, it was a lot - to the point we regreted, a few hours later, eating/drinking a little more than we should have. The menu is not particularly large, but all items must be chosen with careful consideration,...More

I have got here a few times now, never disappointed. The kale salad is really good, just ignore the fact that it’s kale. Next get the Tiramisu, the gelato on top tastes just like it does in Italy.

Our group of four had planned a simple and inexpensive dinner out, but at the last minute we got a 5:45 reservation and were delighted at the opportunity. After perusing the menu we opted for the 'Alla Famiglia" sharing meal - 5 courses (it seemed...More

Osteria Savio Volpe is a restaurant styled after the classic osteria - rustic fare in the Italian tradition of freshness and regionality, using groceries gathered in the nearby lakes, oceans, farms and fields. Everything is prepared in the simplest, most flavourful way; pasta is handmade fresh every day – fatto a mano in casa – and meat, poultry and fish are kissed by smoke over the wood-fired grill and rotisserie. And of course, a long list of friendly Italian wines and old world coffee to inspire conversation and good cheer among friends, family and strangers alike. Above all else, Osteria Savio Volpe celebrates liveliness, warmth and hospitality.
