Causal Dinning if u want great oysters and clams! Super friendly service and if you didn't book a table, you may call in to see if you can walk in. On a busy Friday night you might need 30-40 min. But better wait by the restaurant and not walk too far to miss your name being called as other walk... More

We enjoyed an amazing dinner here. My mom loves oysters so she was thrilled by the size and taste of their incredible oyster selection. Great atmosphere too.

We had an excellent launch at Rodney's Oyster house. The place is very comfortable and properly decorated. The seafood is clearly fresh and brought in daily. We had to the Raw Oysters that were fresh and easy on the palate, and the fried oysters as part of their low tide specials between 3 to 6 PM which were outstanding and... More

This is a vibrant happening restaurant in Yaletown. The neighbourhood has plenty of trendy restaurants. The good was delicious. The price is steep for oysters - running at $35-$40/dozen. Other fare was more reasonable. The restaurant can get really noisy when it's full, so beware. This is not the quiet intimate spot.

On our visit to Vancouver we were directed to Rodney's by a local. What a treat. The beer selection was extensive and the oysters were plentiful. We started with a selection of assorted oysters with a variety of sauces which were inventive and delicious. We then had mussels and finished with a smorgasbord of fried oysters, garlic shrimp, Oysters Rockefeller... More

A smaller Rodney's than we are used to but a great place nonetheless. The menu is changed or different from other locations also...only non seafood item is a 14 oz steak so be hungry or prepared to share if you are not a seafood lover. The food was good though and the service was very good. Wine is served in... More

I dined at Rodney's Oyster House last night and had a great time with good food. The atmosphere is chaotic: loud music and conversation: not a place to go for a quiet chat. Despite the loudness its really fun. The main sound heard is laughter. This small eatery doesn't take itself too seriously which is partly why it is so... More

Mostly seafood on the menu but no problem! Shared a couple plates and the food was really good and portion sizes good as well. Would definitely go back!

Take a seat at the bar at this bustling, hip restaurant and get ready for an amazing gastronomic experience. The services is lively, young and friendly - lots of helpful advice about the best local oysters and accompaniments. I had three different varieties from around Vancouver island - and finally settled on the delicious Desolation Bay oysters - fantastic with... More

A nice variety of oysters, local or less local. It is cool to sit at the oyster-bar and follow the advice of the oyster-chef for a selection. We fund this much nicer and interactive than to be served at a table. Try then with the local beers.

Thank Zatash

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
