First met by our first unhappy Canadian, insisting we stand behind a line when no one in the queue for the lift. Once in restaurant the views are stunning, and a unique experience with a rotating floor which takes an hour to see the whole city view. The food and service let the whole thing down. Service was very slow... More

Great place to really take in the view of Vancouver, the waterfront and the North Shore. Cosy and elegant at the same time. The food was really good and presented well. Good wine list. Good service. A must see to get a sense of the city.

My husband, our student from Mexico and myself went to the "top" for lunch. The panoramic view of Vancouver was breath-taking even on a cloudy day. We could have spent all day just staring out to the city beyond. Jeff-our server was very kind-efficient-professional...

I went to this restaurant in the early afternoon in April last year and as I was a solo traveller, I got to chat to the waitress who was an absolute joy to talk to. She gave me recommendations of things to do in the city, places to eat and l really enjoyed the atmosphere. I ordered the steak with... More

The cuisine is pretty ordinary but the view from a window-side table is unbeatable. Party of four for dinner, shared appetizer, seafood mains, a pasta and shared dessert. Service was average for a restaurant at this price-point. The kitchen is not quick and I ended up refilling the wine glasses myself. But the view is amazing and if you want... More

We had a group of people (family and friends) went there for dinner. I am the only one who ordered lobster I think , everyone else ordered fish or pasta or steak. . the overall services is good. I had no problem with it. However, the lobster I ordered come with "ok" looking, but taste like rubbish, the meat is... More

Do go up the tower to the restaurant, rather than paying to go to the viewing deck. You can buy a drink and relax while the 360 degree views of Vancouver are revealed.

Food was good, don't get me wrong. But overprices I'm assuming because of the location. However I think it was worth it. I didn't feel cheated. Wait staff was very friendly and accommodating.

When my boyfriend and I arrived, we had booked reservation for dinner but when we arrived with no one else in the lobby our wait was 10 minutes for a table. Our server was delightful and knowledgeable of the specials, wine pairings and menu touring. However he could have brushed up on his tableside wine service. The bathrooms were the... More

We came here with 8 people on a sunday night. As most of the reviews say, the view is breath taking but the food is lack luster. From the $60 steak special to the $45 seafood melody provencal, the flavors were just mediocre and not worth the price. Currently the restaurant is only running on one elevator, so expect a... More

Staying in Gastown

Neighbourhood Profile
Gastown
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
