Located a couple of blocks west of Denman, this is a restaurant that you should plan on walking to along the tree-lined streets. Once there you may choose indoor or patio seating, both equally pleasant. The menu is short but offering a pleasing variety. For...More

We came for happy hour drinks and stayed because our server, Fatune. She was amazing and went over and above for us at every turn. Bonus: they have heaters and blankets on the patio so no need to worry if you're not sure about the...More

I have been a resident of the West End for over 10 years and have loved previous visits to Adesso. I hate seeing West End businesses close down (it happens all too often) and so booked a reservation for a group event with hope that...More

We ate dinner there with another couple recently and it was a negative experience. The restaurant is located in a residential area of the West End not too far from Denman Street. Finding parking is a real challenge given the neighbourhood and lack of parking...More

We used to love this place esp the team of waiters that professionally worked together. New ownership now and don't know what happened but all new staff, inexperienced and not working as a team. Makes you wonder when everyone is new and none of the...More

I used to LOVE this place, now under new ownership and they have a lot to learn. I suspect they lost their original chef. Menu is drastically cut and what few items are left are very hit-and-miss. Wait staff did their best but couldn't keep...More

By accident, we wandered by the Adesso Bistro on Haro Street. In a very quaint Vancouver neighbourhood, close to Stanley Park - this is a real treat. Over 30 years ago it was the original location of Delilah’s - Vancouver’s original Martini Bar and fabulously...More

We had been a fan of the Ligurian bistro since it opened, and loved the menu, the staff, and of course, the patio dining in summer evenings. Unfortunately, Adesso is now a pasta and pizza place, with completely new staff, obliging but not too experienced,...More

If you want to spend $$$, the servers will help you with professionalism. Oh! You need to be Caucasian to be serviced better versus Asian or any other ethnicities. Their serverS' (yes, plural here) attitudes completely changed when they saw my Caucasian husband. If you...More

West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines
verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with
Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a
paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and
perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most
languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset
Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to
take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along

Why did you change the menu? Less than stellar now. Menu on this site is now very inaccurate.

Yes. The servers (we've always had Gavin) are very attentive to little ones, and we always ordered a small custom pasta with broccolini, parmesan and butter - children are welcome.
