We started with Octopus Mosaic which is very refreshing. Then we shared the fresh black truffle with fettuccine with butter sauce which I would highly recommend. The lamb shank is so tender that you do not need a knife to cut. The seasonal vegetables are...very tasteful. We finished with the chocolate torte which is very rich. Our server Christina also provided an excellent service.More

I've never tried real truffles before and decided to google where in Vancouver I could try truffle pasta as I had seen on TV. Lupo came up and so I decided to book this restaurant during my staycation over Christmas. I called in to make...sure they had truffle pasta and they assured me they usually have some available. They did mention I had to bring my own booster seat as I was bringing my toddler with me. Service was great, Truffle pasta is part of their specials. The white truffle pasta was about double the price of the black truffle pasta. I decided to just try the black truffle pasta for around $34. It was a good experience and I'm glad I tried it. My toddler loved the bolognese spaghetti. I also really enjoy the foie gras. I would recommend this restaurant for those who want a romantic dinner for 2. The restaurant looks like it's an old house in the middle of Yaletown which seemed unusual but we had a great time and service was fantastic.More

Read a lot of great reviews and we thought we would try it for our 27th anniversary! We were not disappointed:) Our server was Matt, friendly, knowledgeable and patient and answered all our questions. Food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious! For antipasti we had...focaccia bread, so flaky and light. I had the Buffalo baratta- creamy! My husband had the warm goat cheese salad. Our mains were mushroom taglieri and bolognese gnocchi. We loved all the dishes and would come again for another special night! We parked across the street in underground parking it was a Friday night so street parking was difficultMore

We had an absolutely amazing time here at Lupo. We heard a lot about this place and decided to finally give it a try and it definitely did not disappoint. The environment is super cozy, and the service was exceptional. The food is so delicious,...I can't wait to come back here for another meal. They have a ton of great wine selections too! Thank you for an amazing dining experience Lupo!More

Lupo's atmosphere, in an old house, was very appealing the first time we dined there almost 20 years ago and it still is. Their menu is always full of delicious options and we have never had anything except great servers. This visit was no different....The specials for the evening attracted both of us to try one and our server kept us feeling relaxed and at home.More

I asked our server if any of their pasta was vegan (made without eggs)...she advised me that yes, their spaghettini was, and that I could order any pasta main & the chef would substitute the spaghettini. A friend with me needed to have Gluten Free...pasta. So we each ordered the WILD MUSHROOMS | CHILIES | GARLIC + OLIVE OIL, which, we were promised, would be served with our respective pastas. But no, somewhere in the chef's mind, he or she thought that Gluten Free pasta for both of us was a good idea! Do you know how hard & tough Gluten Free pasta tastes to me? Did anyone ask me if they could make this substitution? No. So, while my 2 friends at the table loved their meals... I had to pay for an expensive pasta dish WHERE I ATE AROUND THE PASTA & JUST ATE THE MUSHROOMS, just because it was convenient for them. Very disappointing, to say the least, to pay $30 for some mushrooms. Sorry, Lupo, but you really missed the mark in my books. Perhaps you should pay more attention to the customer’s request & tell them honestly what you will provide.More

My wife and I love going to Lupo Restaurant in Vancouver. The service and the food quality is always excellent. On this visit we sat in the front of the house at our favourite table. We like this table because you can look out at...Hamilton St. We ordered our favourites: Burrata, warm goat cheese salad, lamb shank and fettuccine with shaved truffles. Numerous cocktails accompanied our choices topped off with ice wine for my wife and Baileys and coffee for me. Christina provided her usual excellent service. I recommend Lupo for an excellent evening meal!More

Fantastic fettuccine with black truffles. Reminded me of Italy. We go here every time we’re in Vancouver.

The setting is warm and friendly, a welcome change from the ultra modern chrome and glass establishments. Our server was pleasant and helpful but the menu was disappointing, scaled down from their website. I suppose covid has something to do with that but what was...offered, was less than exciting. A few specials saved the evening from complete disaster. My veal and tuna appetizer was excellent and a large serving. My partner’s burrata was skimpy and just average. Our mains of pasta and sable fish were good, not great. Desserts were fantastic, big enough to share, beautifully plated. We were given complimentary digestifs to end the meal. Pricey wine list. The whole evening and service was hurried....we actually felt rushed. We didn’t have time to linger over our wine because the bill arrived promptly when the dessert plates were cleared. Not the evening we anticipated to end lockdown.More

No dress code but it would be advisable to wear relatively clean casual clothes or better. Customers dress in anything from casual to very dressy.
