Service was great. the waiters were very polite. the food was poor, first had to get them to change the plates as they were dirty and then when our pan fried chow-mien came through, it was soaked in sauce... not cool

In a city with many good Chinese restaurants, Tsui Hang Village has survived, a tribute to the quality of the food.

The food we ordered was average to poor. The spinach was chewy and very fibrous and salty. The service is fine

We returned after many years. It was our favorite Chinese place in Vancouver then. Great Crab, Great Gui Duc Clam. My folks loved it. Then it moved from Yaletown to downtown. We went once and liked it, but there were other places to explore. We returned tonight after so many years. What we found was a quiet, table clothed Chinese... More

A sudden craving for Chinese food brought me to Tsui Hang village. This restaurant is located in the entertainment district and is open late. A take out window offers good quality food until 3 am. The interior of the restaurant appeared very clean and all the servers wore uniforms. This is a rarity nowadays. The service was stellar and my food... More

I eat a lot of good Chinese food, and this isn't that bad. It's great for a late night meal with friends. They will modify dishes if you just ask.

Upon arriving at the restaurant at 2:45 am, we were greeted at the door and was seated right away. The restaurant was busy but they came to us right away to take our order. We ordered the sauteed squid, sweet and sour pork, and the house special chow mein. Everything seemed to go smoothly, we got our first course which... More

This restaurant is on the North West corner of Davie and Granville Street (the former location of RBC). When asked our server stated that the restaurant is open until 2:00 AM. Some friends of ours took us out to dinner at the Tsui Hang Village Restaurant a few nights back and I must say that I had not noticed a restaurant on that corner before. The atmosphere was pleasant and somewhat refined. The huge elegant light hanging from the center of the ceiling was a definite eye-catcher! The food was ok... More

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
