Located in the elite Robson neighbourhood, this restaurant is booming with customers. We chose this restaurant based on the high rating it got and when we got there, we were welcomed with a mouth water scent behind a line up of atleast 5 parties. Luckily, we got there around 12h30 which was the end of lunch for most and so... More

This place was awesome. We stumbled across it as there were alot of Asians heading inside....so we knew it would be great....and it sure was. All you can eat sushi and Korean BBQ...how can you go wrong. It was such a bargain and the food was very fresh and came out quickly. There were a few dishes that didn't make... More

This place has all you can eat Korean BBQ and Sushi. Reservations highly recommended. It does have a limited sushi menu, and the sushi isn't as fresh, but the Korean BBQ and choices make up for the shortfalls in Sushi. I would recommend reservations as the place can get very crowded, but it is a good place.

This is a great place to come if you're in the mood for Korean BBQ and/or Sushi! You can grill your own teriyaki-style meats at the table and there is a good variety of sushi and appetizers. Although all-you-can-eat, this is not a buffet-style restaurant, you get a little card to fill out and they bring you the food (very... More

We religiously come eat here every time we come to Vancouver. We have been doing so for over 15 years. I can say it does get quite busy and we avoid the weekends and peak hours. Service is spotty as it is, even more so on those days. But the food is great. We come for the BBQ and sushi.... More

I came here to write a pretty good review of this restaurant - we had thought it was on the pricey side, but we enjoyed the bbq part of cooking our own food. AT NO TIME were we offered the all you can eat dinner special. As the a la carte options were pretty pricey - a dinner for four... More

Did the all you can eat dinner here .. mix of Japanese and Korean foods. Food was fresh and plentiful and very tasty. They have BBQ pits at each table on which to cook any of the foods that need to be cooked so you can have it the way you like.. rare, med rare ... etc. Service was good... More

We used to visit the location on Granville monthly, but since they closed that location we occasionally visit this one when we are downtown. The fish is getting thinner, and the service too hectic to ask for some more tea! The BBQ makes it a fun evening out and you still get sushi - but getting quite pricey when you... More

A restaurant experience is the sum of many features, from the welcome of the staff to the service and the quality of the food and value for money. Shabusen claims to accept reservations. This is a flat-out lie. My husband went to the restaurant early in the week to reserve for our party on the upcoming Saturday night. They wrote... More
