Our last dinner with our daughter before she returned to the middle east. Very good food and lots of vegetarian options for her. Food was very good but parking is a problem.

Every time we're craving Thai my boyfriend and I go to Sawasdee. I love them because they will veganize anything on the menu for me, unlike most Thai restaurants. The staff is always super friendly and the food always comes out fast even when they're...More

We are east coast visitors and this was close by for our last meal before the flight home. I agree that there is a Chinese flair but down deep the flavors were Thai. We had the won ton and the flower dumplings, but reasonable and...More

Went for dinner with friends, reservations previously made as recommended. The local had the typical appearance of a Thai restaurant, not particularly elegant & quite crowded. The menu is large. Started with a pre-ordered appetizer - purple yam lotus dumplings that were outstanding: sweetness, spice...More

This is the first Thai restaurant in Vancouver. It opened in 1984. I obsessed with it for the firs few years and then did not go back for a while, Had dinner there recently and was very impressed with their food and service.

I frequented this restaurant over a decade ago and it was awesome back then and it is still excellent food and service. Definately worth visiting if your in Vancouver.

Many Thai restuarants have opened in Vancouver since Sawadsee opened years ago, but none compare. Always full, so reservations are a must. Recommend Tom Yum Papaya Salad, chicken swimming rama and pad green beans.

Have tried other Thai restaurants and this is consistently the best. Must make reservations as restaurant is always busy. Only open for dinner, not lunch. Great menu and they try to maintain consistent quality so recurring customers are not disappointed. Appreciate how much work goes...More

I've been to this restaurant about 3 different times in a span of 1 year 2016/2017. I've never been disappointed each time. I really love their crispy wonton appetizer, it actually has a good size of meat inside and not an empty bite! Their "tiger...More
