A long wait because this place is very popular. Most waiting and eating were local Asians, in twos, fours and families. But once we were seated the service was friendly, expert and pretty quick. We started with spicy Prawns which were great. Then crisp spring rolls and a fabulous soup, very flavorful pho - like broth with noodles and bean... More

Was in Vancouver and finally tried this place for dinner last weekend. Tried their famous butter beef, and luc loc. Food was good, but not exceptional. Not really worth the hassle of waiting 30 minutes to 1 hour. Bathrooms are not clean.

The restaurant is located in china town, on a sketchy block. BUT don't be afraid to come in and try the food. We ordered the chicken wings which were the best we've ever had. Beef lúc lac which is so addictive, we came back the next day to order out as this restaurant is really busy. And butter beef, an... More

You can wait in line for a while, leave your name and head to a nearby bar for a drink to fill time! Really busy and for good reason, the food is fantastic here, serves are big as well so be careful how much you order. Service good, prices more than reasonable and a really big range of dishes.

I was in the area and believe it or not, there were no lines at 4:30 pm yesterday, so I went for a quick dinner. Had the Combo C with lemongrass beef, the crepes, crab ball and salad. Also had a small order of the fried chicken wings. Man, the wings were so good...but what is that slightly sweet/salty twang... More

I've been here a couple of times, I'd recommend an early dinner or a late lunch, as it's getting pretty popular so lineups are the norm at peak times. The food is excellent. The place is passably clean and it's a plain family restaurant in Chinatown with all that entails - basic décor, loud, indifferent service.

GET THE WINGS! They are smothered in garlic and butter. They are fried and they will give you life. With so many things to choose from, please get the wings. Also arrive before 6pm. The rush got very intense there. Luckily, we were seated within ten minutes.

This place was recommended and was a great find. Very busy and had 45 minute wait on Friday night but I would have waited more to get in because the food is amazing Cambodian food like home made. The seating is more like a communal seating like a long table with people sitting nearby . I ordered 5 to six... More

The most popular dish the deep fried chicken wings is a must, finger licking! but the dumplings are ok and the second most popular beef rice was good but not spectacular. As long as you get their attention the service was smooth but if you don't say anything they won't come to your table

My son is the foodie expert and he had this on his list. We came after 1st rush 12-1 and we were lucky to get a table after 5 minute wait. We chose three dishes to share and all were excellent. Very good service. Very reasonable pricing. You go for the food, not the ambiance! A Chinatown favorite.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
With the recent exodus of massive new building projects hitting the neighbourhood, Chinatown; which has always been one of the city's most vibrant areas; is even more buzzing and buoyant than ever before. Playing host to some of the city's best pan-Asian cuisine, from fusion food to traditional home-cooking, Chinatown has remained faithful to its roots as a space which clambers with shop signs and welcomes diners to the table. More that that, it has a hip experimental vibe to it, with trendy pop-ups and catchall market shops. The biggest of Canada's Chinatowns, it is also home to an expansive Chinese garden whose manicured grounds inspire and delight, its ponds and pagodas drawing walkers in for an stroll. Take in the red streetlights, the playful awnings, and the upbeat air that suffuse this area.
