I've been here a couple of times, I'd recommend an early dinner or a late lunch, as it's getting pretty popular so lineups are the norm at peak times. The food is excellent. The place is passably clean and it's a plain family restaurant in Chinatown with all that entails - basic décor, loud, indifferent service.

GET THE WINGS! They are smothered in garlic and butter. They are fried and they will give you life. With so many things to choose from, please get the wings. Also arrive before 6pm. The rush got very intense there. Luckily, we were seated within ten minutes.

This place was recommended and was a great find. Very busy and had 45 minute wait on Friday night but I would have waited more to get in because the food is amazing Cambodian food like home made. The seating is more like a communal seating like a long table with people sitting nearby . I ordered 5 to six... More

The most popular dish the deep fried chicken wings is a must, finger licking! but the dumplings are ok and the second most popular beef rice was good but not spectacular. As long as you get their attention the service was smooth but if you don't say anything they won't come to your table

My son is the foodie expert and he had this on his list. We came after 1st rush 12-1 and we were lucky to get a table after 5 minute wait. We chose three dishes to share and all were excellent. Very good service. Very reasonable pricing. You go for the food, not the ambiance! A Chinatown favorite.

Had the Amok, and Pepper Squid was highly disappointed. As someone who has lived in Southeast Asia and traveled throughout Cambodia, the food wasn't anything special, and it certainly doesn't deserve the high trip advisor rating or the dated awards that are on display at the entrance. I think this is probably the only Cambodian restaurant in Vancouver, so it's... More

It is a place that is always full. It close quite early also so don't get their late. The food is very good and tasty although at the cost of lots of sugar introduced in it.

We were so lucky to find this speculate Asian restaurant. We kept ordering things and found out how delicious things were but we were too full to eat everything. We took some back to our rental.

I have been to this restaurant a few times. If you go at lunch or dinner the wait is out the door. But this is well worth the wait for the food. It is in the seedy part of Chinatown, for many years the staff is friendly and fast. The must haves are the "Butter beef, the famous Lemon fried... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
With the recent exodus of massive new building projects hitting the neighbourhood, Chinatown; which has always been one of the city's most vibrant areas; is even more buzzing and buoyant than ever before. Playing host to some of the city's best pan-Asian cuisine, from fusion food to traditional home-cooking, Chinatown has remained faithful to its roots as a space which clambers with shop signs and welcomes diners to the table. More that that, it has a hip experimental vibe to it, with trendy pop-ups and catchall market shops. The biggest of Canada's Chinatowns, it is also home to an expansive Chinese garden whose manicured grounds inspire and delight, its ponds and pagodas drawing walkers in for an stroll. Take in the red streetlights, the playful awnings, and the upbeat air that suffuse this area.
