An easy walk from the Marriott, and completely worth the effort to find it. Valet parking is available if you chose to drive. For starters we had the crab cake and the duo of foie gras. Everything was quite good, but the foie gras brulee...More

A wonderful restaurant with impeccable service and absolutely delicious food. When we went there were five appetizer specials and five main course specials. I had the Digby scallops and they were huge, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. My husband had the mixed seafood and absolutely...More

Attended to celebrate my friends birthday, enjoy excellent food, drink superlative wine and patronize my favourite restaurant in Vancouver. Starting with a terrine of foil gras , Sauternes to partner the taste, then “Rudolf’s relative) chanterelles sauce,,,spaetzle nicely pan fried in butter...helped along with a...More

This was our first visit to Le Crocodile. We have always tried the new, upcoming restaurants instead of coming here, but I really wanted to try out this well reviewed French restaurant for our anniversary. The restaurant has a cozy feel and it was a...More

My husband and I decided to splurge and return to this deservedly well known and respected French Restaurant. We had previously dined here over 10 years ago and we wondered if they still served great food or would the service be, well stuffy. From the...More

West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines
verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with
Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a
paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and
perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most
languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset
Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to
take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along

If they have seared foie gras, go for it. I had the delicious scallops with black ink pasta. Anything is good and if you don't like it, they will fix it!

If you like noise, go to one of those corporate chain restaurants with blaring music. None of that at this fine establishment.
