We dined here recently when on business in Vancouver. It was highly recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. It has the look and feel of a very traditional French restaurant. The service was excellent and as we were dining early in the...More

My wife and I enjoyed our visit. I had the tasting menu with wine pairings. The courses were too large, and I had to pace myself. The food was well prepared, well seasoned, and well presented. The wine pairings were unremarkable. My wife ordered from...More

My girlfriend is much more the foodie than I am. She picked this place after combing through the local area. It was our first trip to Canada. The first of many to come. The overall experience and service was exceptional. This was my first venture...More

Our kids, knowing that we were going to be in Vancouver for a couple of days, gave us dinner here for our 50th anniversary. What a perfect choice! The décor is lovely and understated; the staff operates a formal French restaurant with friendly efficiency. It...More

We go to Le Crocodile 4-5 times a year to get our French food fix and have never had a bad meal. Prices are not cheap, however, we feel it is of good value considering the outstanding food and service we continue to receive. We've...More

I had the veal sweetbreads with porcinis (excellent) and for an entrée, the pappardelle pasta with veal cheeks and mushrooms.was delicious. The restaurant knows how to put on...More

Le Crocodile is my favourite Vancouver restaurant. It not only offers creative, delicious and beautifully presented foods but the table service is invariably superb with congenial, knowledgeable and expert servers and sommeliers. Traditional French standards- fois gras, Grand Marnier soufles, lobster are always available and...More

our first trip to Vancouver, Le Crocodile's menu looked very good. The atmosphere and the service is exceptional. There were four of us and we each enjoyed our meals very much. The little chocolate crocodiles at the end of the meal is a nice touch....More

West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines
verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with
Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a
paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and
perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most
languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset
Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to
take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along

If they have seared foie gras, go for it. I had the delicious scallops with black ink pasta. Anything is good and if you don't like it, they will fix it!

If you like noise, go to one of those corporate chain restaurants with blaring music. None of that at this fine establishment.
