A wonderful classic restaurant with great ambience, service and of course, superb food. Everything was wonderful here. I had the veal sweetbreads with porcinis (excellent) and for an entrée, the pappardelle pasta with veal cheeks and mushrooms.was delicious. The restaurant knows how to put on...More

Le Crocodile is my favourite Vancouver restaurant. It not only offers creative, delicious and beautifully presented foods but the table service is invariably superb with congenial, knowledgeable and expert servers and sommeliers. Traditional French standards- fois gras, Grand Marnier soufles, lobster are always available and...More

our first trip to Vancouver, Le Crocodile's menu looked very good. The atmosphere and the service is exceptional. There were four of us and we each enjoyed our meals very much. The little chocolate crocodiles at the end of the meal is a nice touch....More

I love going to le Crocodile for lunch. Compared to other mediocre restaurants in the area, I find the prices are only marginally more expensive for substantially better quality. There is added value in the hors d'oevre, and the sorbet at the end, both compliments...More

I took a group of business associates to this restaurant after researching on Trip Advisor. We all left after an amazing meal. A few of my 50 year old colleagues declared it was the best meal they ever had eating out. The food was fresh,...More

Food wise were decent. I ordered a medium-rare steak topped with foie-gras which melted like butter. Very friendly and courteous service by all staff. When the server knew that it was for birthday celebration, the desserts had candle and “happy birthday” written in chocolate on...More

West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines
verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with
Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a
paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and
perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most
languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset
Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to
take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along

If they have seared foie gras, go for it. I had the delicious scallops with black ink pasta. Anything is good and if you don't like it, they will fix it!

If you like noise, go to one of those corporate chain restaurants with blaring music. None of that at this fine establishment.
