“Le petit Belge” is a hidden gem in the heart of the Downtown Vancouver . From the food to the service, I couldn't ask for anything better. Went here for breakfast for the first time due to referring by a friend and it didn't disappoint...at all. I had the Salmon Benny w choice of Waffle , and it was delicious. The host (lady) was so polite, friendly, helpful and professional. Highly recommended.More

I don’t make it downtown very often so, when I had the chance in mid-February, I popped by Le Petit Belge for an early morning breakfast. True to their name, this location is kind of small and I was glad that I went early as...it quickly filled up in the morning. As you enter, you’ll come to the counter where you place and pay for your order before sitting down. I opted for the Salmon Benny on Waffle ($17) and spruced it up with a Side of Bacon ($5) and Hot Chocolate ($5). Let me tell you, if you like bacon, make sure you order some. You actually get like 6/7 slices of perfectly crispy bacon so you can share this with your partner (or just eat it all yourself like I did – no judgement). You can order your salmon benny on a bagel or on waffles but trust me – get it on the waffles! Seriously, this is a game changer! The waffle has a nice, light crisp to it and the eggs are perfectly cooked with a runny yolk that coats everything from the smashed potatoes to the slices of sockeye salmon and the creamy avocado. I literally devoured this (and the crispy bacon just kicked it up a notch). I’m probably gushing a bit but it’s been a long while since I’ve had a breakfast this good.More

We went to this place once on the first day of our holiday to Canada and we decided it was so good we would go back. Quite busy so clearly very popular. On the menu, there are lots of choices of waffles including sweet and...savoury options (I recommend the maple and bacon waffle)More

We read the great reviews and decided to give this place a shot. It's a tiny little restaurant, almost a hole in the wall. We had to wait in line to get a table; you order and pay before you're seated. The food was excellent....I had eggs benedict and a waffle (with chocolate sauce) on the side. My wife had a waffle piled high with fruit. Given the tight confines and the high turnover, the service is limited, but good. You'll probably get to overhear everyone else's conversation and make eye contact with someone waiting in line. But if you're OK with those things, this one is fun and worth the wait.More

Excellent small Waffle House in Vancouver. So popular be prepared to Q. But it’s worth it. You pay before sitting. Ag

This small restaurant was very close to where we were staying downtown and offered a huge selection of breakfast items. My friend is on a no salt diet and they tried to even serve her a bread that contained minimal amounts of salt. Very impressed...with the good and service.More

We visited there based on yelp and trip advisor reviews We had to wait a long time for a table and to be honest it was not worth the wait Breakfast was nothing special and I could easily make better myself. In contrast to other...breakfast we have had in Vancouver I do not know why it has such great reviewsMore

Stumbled upon this restaurant in downtown Vancouver, only 10-11 tables. The standing in line is worth it and the food and specialty coffees are wonderful. It was a Friday. These waffles were crisp, light, and covered with fruit or ice cream or whipped topping. Worth...the line and quick service and tables move fast. My partner added eggs and bacon and a waffle.More
