We took a friend from our Church, after delivering some bread to a Charitable Organization in the City, to have lunch at the Floata Seafood Restaurant in China Town. Good that Flaota Restaurant is still active in serving nice traditional Cantonese Food. We had Tim...More

In exploring China Town I wanted a dim sum experience and Floata seemed to be an interesting option - The place has probably seen better days and indeed we went on a Friday so I’d imagine it would be more substantially packed over the weekend...More

I was there for brunch and I had dim sum. The dim sums were good and acceptable. But it needed more seasoning in them. As a few of the dim sums very generally quite bland. Textures and quantity was good. Would visit the place again...More

Hands down , my favorite dim sum restaurant. This is the real deal , you feel like you are in Hong Kong , with 95 % Chinese customers! The food is freshly made tasty and delicious!

We had a fine meal here as a family. We didn’t want to travel to Richmond as we didn’t have a car with us. Service was very nice. The restaurant was almost empty.

With the recent exodus of massive new building
projects hitting the neighbourhood, Chinatown; which
has always been one of the city's most vibrant areas;

Playing host to some of the city's best pan-Asian
cuisine, from fusion food to traditional home-cooking,
Chinatown has remained faithful to its roots as a
space which clambers with shop signs and welcomes
