Delicious Parisian macarons and specialist teas, coffee and hot chocolate. First time that I had tried a tea latte - wonderful! Next time I tried the lemongrass and galangal hot chocolate which was their contribution to hot chocolate week across Vancouver - superb! Friendly, attentive service. Well worth going out of your way to visit.

I have known the proprietor for over 10 years. I've had the pleasure of enjoying her scrumptious desserts and treats long before she opened this shop. Since then, I've tried many macarons in Vancouver and Ottawa and none have even come close to what Shobna creates at Soirette. Try the Salted Caramel. The Truffle is to die for. And the... More

We were walking back from the park to our hotel. We stopped in because it looked inviting. The macaroons were so good. Nice stop along the way.

This beautiful cafe gave us the most special experience on our trip to Vancouver! We were treated to a fantastic selection of teas, with the most delectable pastries. The ambience was cute and romantic. We would highly recommend this cafe for a specialty loose leaf tea and French macarons. You must try the Nanaimo bar macaron and the Vancouver Fog... More

This is my first time trying high tea, even though I have heard so much about it. I came in with very high expectations and Soirette definitely delivered. The tea I had was the evening jewel and the fragrance and aroma was very vibrant, and a very balanced fruity flavor on the palate. As for the actual courses each one... More

We enjoyed the most delicious afternoon tea at la Soirette in Vancouver. The food is top notch and beautifully decorated. You can tell that the owner and all her staff are passionate about the "patisserie" and their maccarons. We very much recommend to every Vancouver visitor to enjoy this most wonderful patisserie / "coffee shop". We loved the interior design... More

My sister and I saw this place while driving downtown. Had to make a stop since everything looked so pretty from the outside. The macarons are really good. We bought a box of 12 to try all the different flavors. The staff is very nice as well. The decor is absolutely amazing. They were sold out for High Tea but... More

Many choices of yummy macaroons, but a bit pricy, $25 for a dozen. This is one of my favourite place for macaroons in Vancouver, they also have high-tea, but haven't try it yet.

Nice but very small (i.e make a reservation - don't just show up) little tea and macaron shop. $35 high tea with a good vegetarian option. Food was fresh and tasty. Not the very best we have had for afternoon tea, but held its own. Nice size portions so you don't feel overly stuffed when you are done. Staff were... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries.
