A delightful patisserie, with a large selection of delicious treats to choose from and beautifully displayed. We settled on death by chocolate – black forest cake and hot chocolate – it was perfect for a cold, rainy day in Vancity. I am very much inclined...to go back and try their maple pecan macarons...one fine day!More

If you want to have the best chocolate in Vancouver - that's the place. They also make very good coffee and tea. Ideal place for a cup of evening tea with a delicious desert or a Morning cup of coffee. Good for couples or group...of friends.More

Overrated, coffee is not as fantastic. The cake is just so-so. Not worth the price. Small place with limited seats.More

Fantastic upscale French patisserie. You must try their Savarin and hot chocolates but they have much more to offer.

Went in there today (a week before Valentines Day) to pick up some dark chocolates for someone who loves Dark Chocolate. At 11:00 AM they only had 5 out of their usual dozen or so different chocolates to choose from. This stinks like a company...that has either given up hope or given up caring. I left in disgust without buying anything and in actuality had planned on getting a quick lunch to go. Th staff member we dealt with offered no explanation or advice. So sad to see businesses that had good reputations failing so badly.More

This cafe is all about chocolate decadence. Takes dessert to a whole new level especially after tasting their specialty cakes and pastries. In as much as I enjoy Thierry products, one can only have so much before you overdose on it. So, a small slice...of cake goes a long ways and one can really savour the delectable slice from a small serving. Yes it is also a small and crowded place, so you might have to juggle around for a seat. Cannot comment on their soup and quiches as I have not had a chance to taste it.More

I visited this cafe last month with a few friends at night after work. The place was packed and we had to wait to find some seats. The macarons and the cheesecakes we had were delicious but the coffee was okay ( I've had better)...would definitely go back to try something new next time.More

So this is my go to for coffee and dessert after dinner or in the daytime with clients, if I happen to be working or entertaining downtown. Cheesecake, vacherons, macarons, all pretty decent renditions of the classic patisserie. This year I decided to use it...as my go to for chocolate gifts for my friends, clients, and family. Straight up mistake. 16 petite chocolates for $39.84 taxes in. I don't mind the price of $2.49 per chocolate, as I will pay for quality. What I don't like paying for is a piece of rich dark chocolate, with minimal to no flavour. 14 different varieties in the box, each poorly, but still garnished, and accompanied with a nifty little map of what each one is. Unfortunately 4 of the 14 flavours weren't on the map. Be wary if allergens are an issue for the end recipients. I thought eating them would be a rousing game of chocolate roulette, but the bullets all tasted the same. 2 of my guest recipients graciously commented to me how they appreciated the gift, but one wasn't impressed with the flavour either, and the other commented; "if they weren't shaped differently, I could swear they were all the same". So aside from being a $200 lesson in "try before you buy", and taking the fufu label, bakery street cred, and merchandising as gospel, I know now to explore the many more chocolatiers competing for the same market share, in Vancouver than can at least make their chocolates taste like something different, or even make them myself. These chocolates will make you look all trendy-pretendy, in a place to be seen with a dozen euro-cars parked out front, like the rest of Coal Harbour, but in my opinion, I would prefer instead of their chocolates, to buy suckers, unless of course I wanted to be a sucker.More
