My wife and I had a meal recently, we were pleasantly surprised on how good it was. Staff were friendly and helpful and steered us in the right direction in what to order. We had a combination of different foods from one of the selections they advertised. Enjoyed every mouthful. Was not all that expensive and if we are ever... More

Poor and unclear menus + poor customer service = will never return. We went here on a weekend and went in for an early lunch. I have had a rice bowl here in the past and it was ok. This time I decided to have ramen since my usual place was closed for renovations. Their menu board on the wall... More

It's basically rice with meat or other choice (like chicken or pork). The host is friendly and the meal comes fast and warm. Good option for a fast food.

I ordered the Beef Bowl and upgraded it to a combo meal that comes with Miso soup and choice of salad: Kimchi, pickle or daily salad. Food was average. Nothing special. Gyudonya is conveniently located in downtown Vancouver on Robson Street, which has a plethora of Asian restaurants.

It always seems busy in here and it's no surprise. Good portion size, quick service, very reasonably priced, lots of choice and, most importantly in my view, fabulous bowls of rice. Simple formula, very well executed.

We had a wonderful meal here. Waiters were very helpful and attentive. My husband had the grilled chicken hot stone rice bowl and enjoyed the flavors. I had bibimbap and liked the combination of veggies.

I love the place as it is like a modern street restaurant in Japan or in Korea. The bibimbap was a little bit bland, but I believed that this is the authentic taste for Koreans. For us it's bland but for them it is just alright. Well, that is wha try Korean friend told me. I would still recommend this... More

This is Japanese fast food focusing on Rice Bowl dishes. Service was fast, but food was ordinary, much like the fast food served in food court, Taste was also ordinary, unlike Vancouver where there is a lot of Japanese eateries serving authentic Japanese dishes. Not worth the trip.

First time visiting here today. I'm only in Vancouver for a month but had spotted this place pretty early on my trip whilst driving past. Today was a day off and I gave in to temptation. I was greeted by a very friendly waitress who took my order after serving a prior customer. I wanted the grilled chicken but was,... More
