Small restaurant, we had takeout. The food was reasonably priced, great portion sizes. The chicken tikka was spicy, but oh so good. We ordered 2 dishes and it was plenty for our family of 4 (2 young children). Staff were very friendly.

The food was very modestly priced, especially for the portion size. The staff was welcoming and made sure that i was very comfortable. Good place for Indian food.

Great little place on the Granville strip.... fast and friendly service. Would scored it higher but will save that for a dine in adventure

After seeing great reviews about the restaurant, I thought I must try it. I was very disappointed. Chicken Tikka Masala was nothing like what it is suppose to be. It was sweetened with Ketchup. Really disappointed.

Was walking back to my hotel and looking to pick up some food. This place was packed and looked like promising hole-in-the-wall. I ordered a samosa and a butter chicken meal, which comes with rice, salad and naan. Both the samosa and naan were s bit oily, but everything was absolutely delicious! I miss good Indian food, so this was... More

Went with my wife looking for Indian food. Realised that the street was not the best place to venture out. Reached this restaurant, was really like a roadside restaurant in India. We had a Veg Meal and the portions were sizeable. Food was very good and enjoyed to the last bite. If only it was presentable too

This is a hole in the wall but the food they serve is very good. Fresh naan albeit a bit on the oily side, big portions and reasonable prices

This place makes THE BEST garlic naan I have ever tasted. Fluffy, delicious, and loaded with garlic. The shahi paneer and butter chicken are so flavourful. The chai, although a bit too sweet if you get it sweetened, reminds me of the chai I had in India. All around, an authentic experience. I never would have gone in here if... More

Best things on the menu are their samosas (they sell out quick), garlic naan, butter chicken and paneer. We are regulars there, and the food is always good.

After reading the reviews about the naans, I picked up 6 of them. All of them were burnt around the edges. I had no choice to serve 4 right away. I tried to remove the back carbon on the 2 for home and got disgusted. Took them back and was told they won't be bullied! They cut the edges and... More

Staying in Granville Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
