I had passed by this place on Davie St a number of times as we stayed in the area. Finally, I couldn't resist and went in. There was so much to chose from. They were putting our freshly baked chocolate croissants which I ended up buying. Each croissant had 2 pieces of chocolate in the centre. A nice sweet treat!

Baguette and Co is a must visit when in Vancouver! True French pastries and coffee. Wow, how refreshing! Of course West Broadway and Kits can't be beat. :-)

The pastries look beautiful, but I don't think they tasted spectacular and they are overpriced. Coffee options are limited - nothing too special. Staff on Davie seemed a little aloof - uncommon in Vancouver and along Davie in my experience.

We called in at teatime (amazing to find a bakery still open at this time) but they had no bread left to make up a baguette of my choice, unfortunately. We bought some delicious cakes instead. Great selection of products.

We visited the Davie st store and got a sampler of 3 mini pastries...delicious. Had a great latte too. We then purchased 2 more croissants to take away!

There are some cute small cake and also pastry. They have upstairs and small room. I wanted to connect wifi, but there is not free wifi, only show open.

Used to love this place and went 2-3 times per week until about a year ago. Had a croissant - which used to be really nice as did most of their desserts, this was smaller than what i recall, it was not at all like a buttery croissant, it was doughy, small, under cooked, i had half, my friend returned... Staying in Kitsilano

Neighbourhood Profile
Kitsilano is one of Vancouver's most transformative neighbourhoods. With a long history of coffee culture and poetry readings, its days of flower children and buskers may be long-gone, but not without leaving their mark on the number of organic restaurants and fair-trade cafes in the area. At the centre of Kitsilano ("Kits" for short) the almost idyllic expanse of Kits Beach offers the opportunity for a relaxed afternoon of beach volleyball or sunbathing. Along with the beachfront, nearby public pools and trendy street-beats have driven up the homeowners prices, making it a haven for stylish home goods stores, from design and furniture, to supplies and appliances. The multitude of both families and public spaces also make it a happening neighbourhood in the summer, when festivals and fairs take to Kits' streets.
