We ordered different special Sushi rolls for take away. Sushi tasted very nice and fresh. You can also eat inside although the shop is rather small.

Go to this small place for quick and delicious sushi! We stop here whenever we are in Vancouver! Rolls are generous, and they are fast!!

This little hole in the wall sushi place can do take-out or eat-in (there's room for about 15-20 people). It appears to be a family run operation, where the fish is very fresh and clean. The servings are large with a great selection and not very expensive. Two rolls and an order of assorted sashimi was $27, ideal for 2.... More

Cute little place with friendly service and delicious sushi. Great for takeout or eat in (if there's space).

This place is around the corner from my daughters place. We go there regularly. The food is excellent, the prices are but it is tiny hole in the wall. Maybe seating for 15, 7 at bars and 4 tables for two. We usually add a third chair and there is no room to move. Lots of take out business. Relatively... More

The food here is very good and cheap: the combos are enough for two people. The staff is friendly, but the restaurant can be crowded depending on the time. They have a take out service, which is also crowded. A great place overall.

Yamato Sushi is my favorite place to go. The sushi pieces are big, it's cheap, quick and delicious. It's very small inside so full very quick but you never wait that long. I love to go there.

This is great value. Sushi is very good and the service fast, friendly and warm. I went a couple times and will go again. Sushi comes with miso soup and salad.

Low grade sushi. Really low grade. Sometimes it's cash or debit only here. Totally tight squeeze. But it's cheap

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The server was really nice, she explained the specials of the day and was welcoming. The sushis were really good and exactly what we ordered. The place is very nice, not a super chic sushi place but then that might explain why the prices are not extravagant! Would go back on our next stop... More

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
