Great bistro type restaurant in Gastown. Small menu, with a very good variety. Seafood specialty that was different and very enjoyable (had the char tartare, tuna taco, beet salad). Would recommend the char and our favourite was the beet salad with pickled grapes. We found that the corn tortilla overwhelmed the light flavour of the tuna and would recommend that... More

Had an excellent meal here with my family. Food was of the highest quality - fresh, local and inspired. Loved the creativity of presentation. Top notch service. Thought it was the best of what the Vancouver food scene had to offer.

We intended to go to another restaurant but it was full. In the end, I am glad we found Cork and Fin! From the friendly waiter, to the excellent food, it was really enjoyable. I recommend getting a few meals, and then sharing!

Great food, friendly and helpful staff. The olive oil ice cream is unexpectedly amazing! Have been back twice and remains quality!

Clearly, there are some good things going on in the kitchen here, and they do seem to be working with first rate seafood. Ambience pretty nice, but it all seems more like a concept than a restaurant. Server tried to guid us (a family with youngish children) through the labyrinth of the menu, suggested a less expensive pathway (which still... More

We wanted a relaxed place to connect with old friends, and this was perfect. We had the seafood tower (a triple layer seafood sampler platter), which was amazing, It had something for everyone, and is very sharable. We had mussels and fries, and the grilled salmon, both of which were delicious. The mussels were plentiful (really, a huge portion) and... More

We were looking for a seafood meal and happened upon this delightful restaurant. The service was outstanding as was the food. Lucky for us they had a special on their seafood tower, which we really enjoyed. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great top notch meal in Vancouver.

Loved our visit at the Cork and Fin in Gastown. We were seated at a table by the front window away from a bigger table so we could actually hear ourselves talk. We were there on an early Sunday evening so it wasn't too busy. The best part was their 3 tier seafood tower reg: $89 was on for $49.... More

Close to the Maple tree square in Gastown, there is a nice atmosphere at the restaurant and surrounding area. The happy hour was well worth it.

We went on a hot June evening and downstairs was packed with a private party so we had one of a view tables on the mezzanine floor above. There are a couple of tables outside and the windows were flung wide open. There's a fantastic choice of seafood and we tried a whole variety. They have a system called "Features"... More

Staying in Gastown

Neighbourhood Profile
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
