Quick, efficient, fun, delicious. Good combo. Try the Thai Beef Salad. Yummy! I sat at the bar for a quick lunch. Had time for wine. The house Chardonnay is pretty good. But that salad -- yum! Warm steak over a cold salad and cold noodles -- just bursts in your mouth. My server was really nice. Everything came fast with... More

I recently ate at this restaurant and the food was very good. I'll start by saying it was a very busy night in Vancouver and this was actually the 3rd restaurant we stopped at trying to find a table. (Friday night at 7pm) The table we got here was VERY small, but things like that don't really bother me too... More

It was a cold wet Saturday in Vancouver and we had just arrived after a gruelling flight from Brisbane via LAX. After a number of Gastown venues proved too busy for us we lucked into this delightful spot at the Waterfront Station. Our excellent server was fast, convivial and very accommodating of two jet lagged Aussies. We shared tapas style... More

A small group of us booked a table for lunch and it was set and ready when we arrived. The waitress arrived fifteen minutes later to take a drink order, returned quickly and left without taking a food order. This is lunch, remember. We called her back and she efficiently took the order, which arrived about twenty minutes further on.... More

Didn't think too much of this restaurant as it is situated at a skytrain station but give it a try on Valentines Day and oh my, phenomenal selection of GOOD food. I'm a massive foodie from Melbourne and I haven't had such a good produce and taste in Vancouver for a while!

We come here quite often before attending Caps game, last night no exception. Enjoy their Happy Hour wine prices, their tasty list of wine choices, a number of which are from the Okanagan, together with their HH snack plates. Last night I had the cauliflower and squash taco, husband and chum had fish tacos, two other chums had wings and... More

My husband and I stumbled upon Rogue last year when we were in Vancouver. As soon as we booked our Vancouver trip this year we knew we wanted to return to Rogue. The drinks are great and the happy hour pricing (3-6) is amazing!

Went for happy hour here the other day, wow has it changed for the worse. Drink prices are still decent $3.50 high balls, used to be $3, and the food menu has been completely halted. I understand that changing the menu needs to happen now and then but to charge so much more for nothing. It's suppose to be a... More

Every day funk is what going Rogue is all about. Crazy tall light fixtures and walls that glow set against sand-blasted brick and well-worn hardwood floors. Menu-wise, going Rogue means doing things in the kitchen others said couldn't be done. Like a completely fresh burger served medium-rare to make it the juiciest and best tasting in town. Or corn-dogs your not supposed to want but secretly crave. Going Rogue means your horizons are greater than the "usual suspects" of chain restaurants. Rogue gives it's customer an eclectic enough offering of food and surroundings, that they can feel and be themselves. You can go Rogue when you're slumming, you can go Rogue when you need to impress. You can go Rogue with a date, your mates or with your boss. Best of all, you can afford to go Rogue every day of the week. Need a stiff drink and tasty meal to get you through your daily grind and have enough left over to do it all again tomorrow? Go Rogue.

Staying in Gastown

Neighbourhood Profile
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
