Was very surprised to find that Salmon & Bannock was the only First Nation restaurant in BC. The service from Inez and Remi was excellent, with each spending time explaining the menu. Their friendliness and good advice was much appreciated. The game sampler of Bison,...More

The only downside to this restaurant is that there is not enough space! It often books up so advance reservations are highly recommended. It is a much-needed Indigenous food restaurant in Vancouver, which is lacking in this area. Inez and Remi, the multi-talented and very...More

This place is special because of its unique story and excellent food. The dishes were well-seasoned, perfectly cooked, and made with thoughtfully sourced ingredients. Service was warm if slightly scattered. Definitely worth a visit.

I've given a 5 star review before. Over a couple of years we've brought all family and friends from out of town here for a unique west coast cuisine. And I like supporting indigenous business as often as I can. However, something has changed here....More

The restaurant atmosphere is super cozy and the service was beyond excellent. In terms of food I had the most famous dish in the house (salmon with veggies) but found that the taste was nothing besides exceptional, considering that the salmon is supposed to be...More

We are Vancouver's only First Nations restaurant. We specialize in wild fish, free range game meat and of course bannock, freshly baked daily. We use traditional ingredients that we prepare and present in a modern way. In our small casual bistro everyone is welcome as they are. In the spirit of First Nations' traditions, our intention is to provide a gathering place where the focus is on the people and the food. Inez (Nuxalk Nation) and Remi Owners
