Tried to have a drink and snack there but we're ignored for 10 mins. We decided to leave. On our way out we told a server/hostess what had happened and she just shrugged her shoulders basically saying "whatever". Not a good first or last impression for a place that's empty on a beautiful Sat afternoon. Off to Cactus Club we... More

We love dropping into the Hurricane Grill. It's upscale casual and the servers make you feel right at home. If you get to sit at the windows or outside on the patio (with heaters and blankets) you can really enjoy the beauty of the False Creek area and impress your out of town guests with the yachts docked in the... I came with a friend who lives in Yaletown. The service was good but the food was uninspired and a bit like eating at a chain restaurant. The prices were average but the decor was dated and a bit dingy. I will say this, it was a good place to drink beer and watch sports!

Downtown Vancouver right on the water with an open air patio for dining. Excellent Food, friendly atmosphere. Parking is a little tricky.

Looking for a waterside lunch, including an outside space where your dog can sit right beside you, this is the place. The food is better than regular pub standard, and if they have the ceviche - get it! Grab a beer or glass of wine - enjoy the scenery and have some fun. An unexplored gem in Yaletown.

We had lunch once here. Although the venue is magnificent, the food leaves to be desired. Fast and adequate service, normal prices, but uninspired and run-of-the-mill dishes. An average place.

Great spot for an afternoon drinks by the marina and a light snack, or lunch / dinner. Pub atmosphere is cool, and I highly recommend the Hurricane cocktail. We only had a snack but the chicken wings were awesome.

i had the california burger which was quite good. home made patty with good flavor and not over cooked. Served on a locally made brioche bun with fresh toppings. i would recommend the place if you want a good burger. It came with thin cut fries which were hot and crispy, the way I like it.

Nice deck and good food. Has a pub and restaurant feel, lots of TV's to watch sports, always popular with the locals. Diverse menu and good staff.

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
