The best Indian restaurant in Canada. We had tried many Indian restaurants. This is the best in ambience, food and service. We were a group of 8 and they wouldn’t let us sit together. They sat us in two separate tables far apart. We were...angry but at the end of the day it should they cared for their customers and they follow the COVID protocols. The food was delicious. We will definitely returnMore

Some of the best Indian food we’ve had! Definitely start with the onion bhaji. If you need a fresh veggie, the chef salad is a great mix. All of the meat and curry dishes were great. And the boys inhaled the tandoori chicken - the...finest! And we especially loved the paratha, garlic naan and spinach / cheese naan. Topping off the dining was the respectful and helpful service. This place must be run by the owners. And it shows! Highly recommend.More

The restaurant is tucked on the second floor ,been in business for awhile ,over looking the busy street Burrard , it is very upscale spacious and cozy place , this is the place I all way come for their Lunch buffet with my staff and...client , ,since the Covid 19 ,all the restaurants hate to say it is not the same any more ,on the quality ,services , so many challenges , and every restaurants struggling , my client and the family stay at the Hyatt , looking for a good curry restaurants ,I have a reservation for five people , may be a week night ,only have few tablets for dinner ,we all happy and fell comfortable about their Safety plan and guidelines ,menu not too over size ,lot to choose from , the curry Halibut amazing delicious spicy just right ,the Tandoor chicken little over cooked , curry lamb have a lot of flavour ,but the best is the Lamb Shish Kabab ,very tender juicy and flavorful,I eat curry all over the world ,I fined the Salmon Bombay's base curry is lot different ,it is North Indian style plus their own secret ingredients ,amazing good every body love it , I find little over price for the portions we getting ,but it is prime down town dining ,you pay what you get ! I miss their Lunch Buffet ! over all ,great relax Indian restaurant !More

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Salam Bombay. We were 4 adults and two teens from out of town. Our server was attentive and offered advice on how much food to order for our group. We had popadoms and mango chutney, onion bhajis and...vegetable pakoras to start, followed by chicken tikka masala and butter chicken with pilau rice and garlic naan bread. Everything tasted delicious, even the rice. The cost of the meal was on par for the amount of food and the quality. The restaurant is in a nice part of the city, very close to the Burrard train station.More

Stumbled upon this place and so grateful we did. The halibut coconut curry was incredible and we were thrilled with our meal here. The staff was very kind and attentive. We’ll be back!

Hard to imagine a better meal. The entire experience is 5 star. This was my second visit and I came back because the first was so exception. Consistently delivers a first class Indian experience at very reasonable prices.

I had the chefs special 4 course meal. It's the best thing I've ever put in my mouth. First Course was vegetable pakora. Second BBQ lamb. Third Assorted curries. Fourth banana and ice cream. You must eat here.

Have been searching for years for really good butter chicken, and without question FOUND IT here. Rich tasty delicious sauce, lots of chicken (yay), and choose how spicy you want it. I have never had better butter chicken. And the naan … light, tasty, perfect...consistency. Can't wait til the next eat-out night, will be going back. We stopped by and picked the food up from the Burrard St location which was extremely easy - lots of parking nearby and easy access. Also, although we ordered "one portion" per person, there was almost enough for two meals so extremely good deal on price. Super nice staff doesn't hurt either! :)More
