I hosted a cocktail reception on their mezzanine with food and drink for about 30 people. Food was plentiful and delicious and the space was cozy and lovely decorated with tea lights and comfortable seating. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The Revel Room is in the Gastown district so it could easily be overtly touristy. But it wasn't. It's a small place on a side street with live music. It happened to be their ninth anniversary so they had live music all day. And a...More

What a surprise! We were just wandering in Gastown, without a plan for the evening. We had not been to the Revel Room before. Great drinks, good food (we had the gumbo and biscuits) and wonderful live music (it was "duelling pianos" night). We'll be...More

Went here hoping for an evening of good music and revelry and hopefully good southern food but came away less than satisfied. When the menu lists a fried green tomato vegie burger, you can't use a ripe tomato. just turns to mush. The rockfish was...More

Go here. Amazing ambience. Fantastic staff. Your every need is taken care of. Dennis the manager (owner?) is amazing. Seriously go here. The food is incredible. Chicken bites will make you come back again and again.

The live music is nice, a little on the pricey side, and the tables a little wobbly, food was so so. but other than that a great place for drinks and some live music.
