Came here for happy hour, and ended up staying for the special set dinner menu! Lots of good food and drink options for the happy hour price. Our server Andrew was very attentive and friendly. We were there for my mom's birthday, and they were...able to help us put a candle on the dessert we got. This was my first time there and I would definitely come back.More

We enjoyed delicious, fresh and 2 types of oysters during their happy hour. Service was attentive and the team were very much focussed on customer’s safety. We tried uni for the first time and caviar, the caviar was delicious – salty & creamy! It was...a great experience. More

The staff was very friendly. We came with our little 8 month baby and they did find us a perfect place inside the restaurant. Food was really good. It was happy hours when we arrive so we did enjoy many oysters. We also tried fries...with truffle oil, really good! They really respected all the restrictions related to Covid 19. The place was very clean. A real good time!More

One of my client discover the Fanny Bay Oyster Bar and the Shellfish market few days ago ,she enjoyed the happy hour at another oyster restaurant on Robson St last week , so she want to take us to Fanny Bay for dinner ,I know...Fanny bay very well ,I do stop by few times before the Covid 19 for their happy hour ,my girl friends love the cozy ,clean restaurant ,since their reopening ,they did a splendid job on the safety plan , feel very comfortable , and safe ,restaurant not too big ,due to the social distancing , the restaurant only operating 50 % capacity , it is first come first sever ,or you can sing up on Yelp to reserve a spot ,and the shellfish market just next door , ,the menu is different before the Covid 19 ,they do not sever east coast oysters any more , but there is so many choices oysters and item on the menu ,, no problem at all ,I know my oysters like I know my Steak , Atlantic ,Olympia , European , Pacific ,Kumamoto , they all taste sweet " Briny " are very plumb springy ,either you love it or hate it ! we all share the raw Oysters ,the Dungeness crab with butter , also the friend oysters wow ! Mamma Min , the quality is excellent ,so fresh you can taste the ocean , and the right refrigeration 40 f , great with a bottle champagne , match made in heaven , absolutely amazing , ,price is very moderate ,do not forget seafood is not cheap in any restaurants ,you pay what you get , I do not remember when or where I ate so much Oysters in my life ,staff is very friendly and helpful , the total bill close to $ 300 ,it worth every shell ! so if you on a budget ,try their Happy Hour ,you still get the same great quality ! Yet ! this is one of my Top Ten Oysters in Vancouver !More

We have passed this restaurant several times every time we visit BC but never really got ourselves to dine in until the Westin Concierge Lisa told us to try it out. The place is very casual and the menu is not too overwhelming. We love...seafood but we are also healthy eaters. We prefer simple and fresh dishes. The menu had several options that fits our needs. The service here was superb, Eve and Alexa were very helpful and engaging from start to finish (20% tip deserved). We had the blackened salmon which was very very good, the seafood chowder was generous with the seafood. My husband had the oyster and he truly enjoyed it. The prices are pretty reasonable, I even have to say great value for what you get. I am definitely a fan and would recommend this placeMore

My son had to Fanny Bay before and suggested we go for happy hour before heading to the Canucks game. I absolutely loved the oysters shooters. Ended up having two of them. Shot glass filled with a concoction tasting of tomatoes and whiskey with a...seasoned salt rim. An oyster on the half shelf is propped atop. We sipped a bit out of the shot glass and dropped the oyster into the drink. One slug and down it went. Delicious. We also polished off two dozen oysters in no time. They were super fresh and shucked to perfection. The happy hour is a great deal if you are a raw oyster lover. Featured oysters is only $1.50 each and the featured premium oyster is $2.50 each. We sipped away at a beer or two while there. Great ambience and terrific service. Happy hour starts at 3pm and goes to 6pm. Get there early because it gets crowded.More

Happy hour choices are deep. The mussels in their broth require at least two loaves of bread. Beer on tap goes well and staff helpful to recommend local and tried and true favorites. The oysters are exceptional.

Really wide variety of seafood to choose from. I really don't think you can go wrong with anything on their menu. I was really happy to be able to taste the variety of west coast raw oysters (grew up in Virginia) and it was disappointing....Portions were perfect enough to try other stuff on their menu. Alcohol selection was good as well. Service was on point. Def coming back next time we are in town.More

First come first serve. There is always a line because it is a very small place. No children's menu. It is mainly a raw menu. Best for couples and small groups.
