Went to this restaurant as it was my husband's birthday. My daughter and grandson were visiting and we needed a place that took kids as well as a high chair. The staff were awesome as of course the little guy spilled his drink so we needed a clean up. The food was very tasty. I had the seafood pasta and... More

Set on the waterfront in downtown Ganges, this was a great find. We started with fresh oysters, excellent. We shared the house salad which was plenty and very fresh. The chowder was the highlight and it's presentation superb. There aren't a lot of restaurants in Ganges but don't miss this one.

The pub tucked away downstairs has an outdoor patio for warmer weather, nice view of the harbour. We were impressed that the owner brings in several products from their own farm so that guarantees freshness and honours the 100 mile diet. The clam chowder was the highlight - besides the Salt Spring Island ESB beer

We had a little trouble finding our way in to the restaurant, having arrived a touch early for dinner and right after a significant snowfall. However, once inside, we had a great experience - comfortable tables overlooking the water, very attentive and friendly service, and delicious food! We split the Brussels Sprout appetizer (highly recommend - not your Grandmother's brussels... More

When we arrived, it took us almost 5 minutes just to be greeted at the door, when finally server Kendra came out (the restaurant only had 1 table sat) and did not apologize for the wait. When sat, was very unknowledgable of the drink menu. The food came out hot and in a timely manner which was nice, but it... More

I had decided not to go to this restaurant based upon some of the reviews I had read. Mainly, the reviews indicated poor service and mediocre food. I went there with my husband and son and had really nice food and great service. They were accommodating with the fact we had to leave a certain time. I had the fried... More

If you are looking for excellent seafood, eat here! I don't think you will be disappointed with the harbour views, excellent food, great drinks, service was great. Try to eat upstairs to enjoy the fireplace and harbour views.

I noticed this restaurant on tomati. io because of its high health inspections score of 96/100. Had a lunch here on a New Year day and loved it. Clam chowder with freshly made house bread was tasty and flavorful. Mussels in a ginger sauce were to die for! very tender and fresh (servant said that they cook only local Salt... More

Just had a fantastic seafood chowder in this quaint and cute little place overlooking the harbour and it was absolutely fantastic. We followed this with Salt spring ginger mussels - again absolutely scrumptious. Our waitress was fantastic, efficient, helpful and pleasant - can't recommend the place enough, it will definitely be one of our Ganges haunts!
