Sassafras Savouries is an excellent restaurant for breakfast (I am sure for lunch too but I have had only breakfast here). The food is not only visually appealing but very good. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly. Absolutely no complaints....

I have been here about 5 times in the last year and have always been pleased. It's quiet and spacious, easy to have a meeting here or a meal with family. They have great coffee and keep coming back to refill. My favourite is the egg muffin sandwich with sautéed vegetables. I also find they have the best hashbrowns in... More

I come here at least once a month; it is one of my favorite spots for breakfast and lunch. Sassafras is one of those rare places where the chef has a truly amazing palate! The flavors in this menu are incredible. Locally owned and featuring lots of local produce, the food is fresh and delicious. Some of my favorite dishes... More

I was here for lunch last week and it was brilliant. Everyone at the table was happy with the food. I suggest the veggie panini. So good!

For my first event of this style I was very nervous about amount and cost of food. They walked me through everything and gave me beautiful suggestions, all in all was a great experience and I will definitely be bringing my business back to this awesome establishment

Stopped in for breakfast after a swim at the nearby rec centre and a stay at the adjacent Travelodge hotel. Not busy early on a Thursday morning, but obviously some local frequent customers were in (usually a good sign). Breakfast was very good, service appropriate for home made cooking (it takes time), and the atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly.... More

I've eaten at Sassafras Savouries several times in the past year and I've noticed a decline in service. I dined there with a group from work earlier this past Spring and the waitress was just plain rude and terse when taking our orders. The service was painfuuly slow and she got many of the orders wrong. I went back there... More

Lunch took a total of almost 2 hours. We ordered fairly quickly, drinks came right away. Main meal came in reasonable time but when asked to have a side, that took a long time to arrive. Finished eating, plates cleared away & we waited again to have a server arrive to ask if we wanted anything else. Another coffee ordered... More
