We visited here to try out a traditional Nanaimo bar, and we were not disappointed! The service, coffee and overall experience was very good!

We really enjoyed our late lunch and specialty coffees. The food was good and the atmosphere great. Great service too. One warning: we ordered frittata - very tasty but the serving was smaller than we were expecting.

A wonderfully eclectic little cafe with the sweetest young ladies serving up freshly brewed delicious beverages, yummy eats and sweet treats. I love stopping by for a large Cafe Mocha to enjoy my beverage, people watch and to enjoy the owner's awesome art, which you can purchase as well. One of the must see, must go to places in Nanaimo's... More

This place was recommended to us as having the best Nanaimo bars amid the many, many places that serve them. I don't have much to compare them with, but they were certainly delicious and it was interesting that there were several flavors of them. I didn't know before that they could have different flavors. The cafe is very, very small... More

On our cruise we stopped in Nanaimo and heard about the famous Nanaimo Bars, so I had to find and try one. One of the Nanaimo greeters gave me a brochure of all the places in Nanaimo that sell them. Of the 34 selections I picked the Bocca Cafe. There was a line and people were buying LOTS of these... More

We dropped in for breakfast in this little cafe in the old quarter of Nanaimo. Quirky with good breakfast selection. We settled for Green Eggs with Ham which was a bagel - several choices with egg, ham, salad and pesto. Delicious and a mug of coffee. Great spot.

Ok! That is the best Nanaimo Bar I've ever tried. The place is located at the old/arts district, which is really cool. They have different flavors of Nanaimo Bar, but I tried the traditional one. It is curious that this place is not in the Nanaimo Bar route (a city map showing a Nanaimo Bar trail around town) because it... More

We come here for the carrot cake. It is a cozy place, with arty decor, in a really funky part of Nanaimo, and it serves good coffee. Did I mention the carrot cake? It is a very popular place for lunch and snacks, don't be surprised if you have to wait 5-10 minutes in line before ordering. The staff has... More

Went for a sandwich for lunch. They were sold out of Nanaimo Bars, but the salted caramel one wasn't bad. This place has too much of a vegan atmosphere for my liking.
