Dinner with a good friend on a Monday night, young host at welcome desk seemed a little overwhelmed with selling a gift voucher and organizing a table for us at the same time. This takes a lot for me to write a negative review. I generally take things in stride but it is important to share our experience in the hope others don’t have a bad experience as well. We made reservations well in advance for a party...of 5 for a special occasion. When we arrived we were seated in the far back corner of the outside patio area which have been converted with walls and heaters. Our booth was very small for our group but we made it work because the place was very busy. I would have expected to be seated in the dining room considering it was a pre-booked reservation from a week prior. The overhead heaters where scorching and when we asked for them to be turned down they were turned off and then it was quite cold. It was not comfortable. Our server was more interested socializing with his colleagues instead of paying attention to the client. With food being delivered, we had to track our server down to ask for cutlery and enough sharing plates. In addition to this, some of the food arrived cold and we should have sent it back but didn’t. The portion for the main entrees were much smaller than what they used to be. Maybe they are cutting costs because if Covid? When you go out for a meal it is important to enjoy it and we have always had positive experiences at Cactus. This was a first, where things were not at all at the high standard of the brand. The food was inconsistent, the service was poor and the seating was less than desirable. I’ve been to most Cactus Clubs in Western Canada due to business travel and they have always been good. This experience was totally unexpected and it is too bad because this is one of our favourite restaurants.More

This is a place to go to over and over and u will get quality and very friendly service. The atmosphere is relaxing and very comfy. All the covid standards and regulations r being followed. Can't go wrong dining here.More
