This place is not a restaurant, but closer to a bakery/cafeteria with hearty food. We always have pork hock and sausage with sauerkraut and onions; we are told the other dishes are good, too. No espresso though even though they advertise this on their signs. Lately, we have found the food mediocre and the room cold in winter. The buns... More

The last time we went there,(today) the service was still slow but the serving size was disgraceful. my son ordered chicken on a Kaiser and... More

My family and I have been being their customers for many years. We all love their soup and ham hocks. I need to go to Vancouver this weekend and my uncle in Vancouver who asked me to get him some ham hocks. He misses the ham hock from Woodfire very much, so the day before I go to Vancouver, I... The brioche buns are amazing as well as the soups. The prices are a little high but for good quality and tasty food it is totally worth it!

There is always a big line to order. The sandwiches are pretty big and they make everything there including the buns. The pictures below is the cordon bleu and the... More

This place is crazy - it gets insanely busy at lunchtime (but with good reason) - they have the best chicken cordon bleu in town (ymmv). My complaint is the busy-ness, but it's only busy because it's DELICIOUS.

The other day while in Kelowna and driving on Harvey, aka Hwy 93, I came across Wood Fire Bakery. This is the best place ever for lipinch as they are making wholesome homemade food from scratch, serving up hearty amounts. The mushroom soup and the grilled Reuben sandwich were my choice and I tell you, the best mushroom soup ever. Full... More
