We were given a nice booth as per our request. The server was very abrupt - no welcoming comments, no warmth. After waiting for some time, we had to signal him to remind him that we were waiting for bread. No apology. We had to...wave him over to take our order once we had time to read the menu. Food arrived with a thump on the table - it was almost thrown down. Again, no pleasant comment or interaction. We had asked for carrots, and they were undercooked and neither seasoned nor buttered. Very bland. Plates are unappealing - mine simply contained a piece of meat, a potato, and the carrots. Not anything to make it look attractive. We also found the meals extremely expensive, and would have expected something special for the price. It was so disappointing that we left no tip. Not something we like to do, but how else are you going to reward rudeness and mediocre food? We eat out regularly, and The Keg is off our list. Also interesting that we’ve heard from two other groups this last week who both felt the same as us.More

My mom had a special birthday celebration. A lot cancelled on us due to the weather and COVID. The Keg gave us a special table and helped make her evening. Watermelon cosmopolitans were very good. Loved the Caesar salad. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Lobster...was delicious. Loved the double baked potato. Billy Miner dessert is always great. Daniel was a good waiter. The Keg is our go to place for celebrations and so when in Kelowna with friends we decided to celebrate both of our marriages. Reservation was easy to make and the wait was short. The hostess was friendly and efficient. Our waiter was another story....We ordered two orders of prime rib dinner (large cut) and it was good. We had told the waiter that we were celebrating but he didn’t acknowledge it until the very end of the evening when he dropped a piece of ice cream cake on the table for us to share. Unfortunately one of us is lactose intolerant and others don’t care for ice cream. We asked for decaf coffee but he said there wasn’t any and refused to make more even though it wasn’t late. We tried to build rapport with him but he wasn’t interested. Then we asked for the bill and he brought out separate bills although we wanted one. We gave him two gift cards and asked him to apply that and we would pay the rest. He applied the larger ($100) to one order and the smaller ($25) to the other couple. He then had the audacity to claim that the difference between the one bill and the $100 gift card was his tip! As if he deserved a tip that size! We argued with him for some time to get it straightened out. Finally we did but the glow from the evening was long gone and we still didn’t get coffee! He managed to turn a special evening into a disappointment. On other occasions at other Kegs, we have been treated so well, made to feel special. Here, we felt we were keeping him from more important things.More

Not our first visit. This was for my daughter’s birthday and, once again everything was perfect. Food, service, ambience, everything. In particular, our server, Jane, was a wizard. Well done Keg people.

We've celebrated many special occasions at the Keg, over the years, but I have to say, this was the best evening ever. The celebrating of our 50th was supposed to be a huge gathering, but had to be different, due to the Pandemic. There were...only our daughter and her husband and one of our granddaughters to be with us to share in our happiness. Our meals were perfect, our server, Courtney, fabulous in her care of us and our eating area , safe and private. Thanks to the Keg for making the evening so wonderful!More

A bit dismal and noisy. Steaks however were usual good Keg stuff. Hard to find the parking lot. All in all a good place

We ended up going to the keg tonight after being disappointed and leaving another restaurant. Good move. The food here is just sensational. Prime rib to die for. Wedge salad, crab legs, garlic shrimp everything was phenomenal. Our server Chad was knowledgeable, efficient and a...good conversationalist. Just a great experience from start to finish.More
