Stopped in to try this restaurant out and found the service excellent. I had the tofu salad and the black bean crispy bean with rice for a main. I really enjoyed the black bean for the main with brown bean sauce. As previous reviewers noted it is not a fancy eatery but the food, service and pricing make up for... More

We went for dinner and had planned, the Japanese Rolls for starters, the Black Peppered Veggie Beef, and one tofu dish.. ...but as they were out of tofu, we changed to a in-house Mushroom veggie dish (sorry forgot name) and LOVED it too!!... The Japanese Roll and Black Peppered Veggie Beef was also amazing....We would go back again and again... More

Enjoy the food! Vegan/vegetarian meals and always enjoyed...even take one to go before heading home. Pleasant staff, quick service, basic decor but it's about the food.

Had a curry dish for lunch, which had way too much thick gloppy sauce and two different kinds of fried faux meat on it. Neither healthy or good, and way overpriced. Much better Asian in Kelowna (Zabb, Bai Tong, Soy, Ume), so stay clear of this one.

Being a vegan has its challenges when going out for dinner but this place made it simple - I could eat absolutely EVERYTHING on the menu. My boys, however, are meat eaters and were not looking forward to going out for tofu. They were quickly won over. It was pretty quiet when we went for dinner, which is usually not... More

The Tai Vegetarian restaurant was 'classical Asian vegetarian' at it's best. I have to say I have not had such a meal since I was in New Jersey. This style of cuisine (featuring various ingenious 'faux-meats'!) is most definitely an acquired taste, but one that every diner should try. The premises were meticulously tidy, and the staff very friendly. Tea... More
