A great little place for lunch right downtown. Homemade soups, sandwiches and ice cream treats. A real treat. Hours limited to lunch time.

The restraunt is small with maybe six 4 top booths the food is great home made and large portions staff are all friendly and helpful. the guests always seem to fit in easy rather busy or just sitting for afternoon coffee. It is right downtown so again perfect location to go when you are busy touring the totoms. They take... More

Cherries is a great place for lunch. Yes, it does get very busy at lunch and especially in the summer. You may have to wait a while for your order, but if you call ahead, they will have it ready for you at your appointed time. They have gluten free bread and the sandwiches fillings are very full. It is... More

Don't let the limited seating and outward appearance fool you. This is a great lunch spot! Home made sandwiches to order and great baked goods like grandma used to make are not to be missed. Always busy, most times a line up although the wait is definitely worth it.

Cherries makes a great, homestyle lunch. Their chicken salad sandwich is my favourite. The soups and sandwiches are fresh and homemade. Downsides are that the space is very tight and seating is very limited, especially during the lunch hour. It also closes early, which is unfortunate.

They have delicious sandwiches and other offerings here. It's always busy and that's a good sign. Love their soups too. The best service from warm and friendly ladies behind the counter. I wish it were a bit bigger, as the five tables are often full but most people get takeout.

Arrogant and unfriendly people run this place. It seems to be intended as a hangout for Duncanites who don't welcome anyone they don't know. All I wanted was an ice cream, but if can get that elsewhere and be greeted with a smile.

Walked in with my three kids. Was bluntly told they were closed. As walked out noticed door sign said open. Walked about a block and then checked time. Had just turned 4:00, indicating we had walked in during business hours. What business won't scoop some kids ice cream...even if it was 4:00... Won't be back.

Cherries has great food for great value. Fresh scones, muffins, and little berry or apple pies are all wonderful but the homemade soup is the best. Sandwiches are loaded with veggies of your choice. Casual friendly astmosphere. Well worth checking out. And don’t forget about the ice cream!

This little shop is quite small, not good for wheelchairs a little cramped for walkers, but the people were friendly, the food looked good (I don't eat out, but I take people out all the time), and was delicious to according to the person I was with. The fillings for the sandwiches were ample, and they were willing to cut... More
