When we first moved here, the Royal Dar was a very unexpected surprise. The quality of the food and the level of service was not something we expected to find in a community the size of Duncan. This restaurant began in Ladysmith, and relocated to Duncan. The owners are hard working, and have renovated a fine old house and it's grounds into a local, well-established restaurant. You get what you pay for, a very decent meal for a very decent price.
