We have come to this place over the last several years and always thought the food was good, but we always seemed to arrive at the wrong time, as the service was poor. We decided to try it out recently and dropped by for a quick bite and a drink. We decided to share a plate of calamari and a... More

This is our 'local' and on Friday nights has live music, so pop along enjoy good food in an 'English' pub setting.

They have a new menu that I didn't see posted, and awesome new management! Live music every Friday evening. A great spot for a nice dinner and drink and live acoustic music

we were here for dinner and ordered beef dip with caesar salad and a bowl of soup. The waitress was prompt with taking our order. As it was a rainy night, we enjoyed sitting in front of the cozy little fireplace. The pub is located in a charming 100 year old house. There seemed to be a lot of locals... More

After visiting the Chemainus Theatre for the production of A Christmas Story we stopped off at the Saltair pub for dinner and a couple of libations :) The beer was above average and seemed to compliment the food we chose, I had the house burger (fully loaded) and my wife had the steak which she said was cooked to her... Older house converted into pub on beautifully and isolated peaceful area. Located of the main highway so a little hard to find but worth the experience. Staff was terrific and food was good .. not huge portions but who needs a ton of greasy filler fries. This pub is surrounded by green space and has tons of charm. I will... More

This was the first time I had been here but not for the friend I was with. This pub had been his local 20 or so years ago so he was also happy for a return visit. Our waitress (Meagan) welcomed us with a big smile and a wave of her hand to indicate we could sit wherever we would... More

I knew the pub was under new ownership (I am a local) and that it was serving Greek food every Saturday night. Well. It seems I have to go there all the time now because the Greek food is delicious! The moussaka is to die for. Also really enjoy the halibut and chips there. Portion is generous and the batter... More
