very different concept for an eating establishment! bags of potatoes on the floor, peanuts to shell and eat while waiting for your order. open kitchen where you can watch them prepare each order, kinda cool! food was good, self serve drinks. enjoyed the experience and I would go back to this type of eatery again.

Right off the top, this place is a little pricey but boy do they have a great burger and fries. The place is spotless and while you have to wait for your food, it is cooked just for you. They usually give you an extra scoop of fries in the bag but I never got it this time. Just a... More

My first experience with this chain, and do I ever wish my city had one! Always wise to pick one thing, and do it well! Fantastic burger and fries; and even the little burger is not very little once you pile on all the free toppings. Definitely not your average burger joint!

Been here many times with my husband and family. Never had a bad experience. Sometimes there can be a bit of a line but defiantly worth the wait.

Lots of food for the price. Five Guys franchise is the same wherever I have gone. Burgers and sandwiches are big and allow for lots of add-ons included. Fries come in a big container with an extra helping in the bag. Food is always hot and good. Staff are super friendly.

If that question can be answered in one word, I'd say chemistry. Sure the music is too loud, but the staff and customers have something going on here that isn't cooked up in Hospitality 101. Either you have it in the real world of a busy, busy restaurant or you don't. This 5G has it. Compliments to the loudly effusive... More

Stoped in after work. A little bit expensive. But I would go again. And again. And again. Free refills for drinks. Fries were good, but couldn't finish them all, and there was 2 of us. Only 1 bad thing to say........I live 50 minutes away.

One of the top burgers in Red Deer. Bun, meat, and whatever you want on it. It's a filling greasy good time. Fries are over the top so be carefull when you order, it is a lot!

Any food at 5Gs is international: burgers, pop, and fries. Enough said, except that it was, as usual, tasty. But what's with the colonial complaint in the headline? Simply this (as I have said it before many times--hello--are you LISTENING?): too much American propaganda pollutes the walls. Far too many food reviews from U.S. publications. I'm sick of it! And... As we were in the area shopping and needed some food, we thought we would go here again as we had done not long after they opened a few years ago. No table service, so food is ordered after you walk in the door at the counter and then you retrieve your order once it is ready and the number... More
