Let's be clear: this is not a four-star restaurant or some fusion pretentious place. It is just a very old diner with authentic vinyl booths, mikeshake that comes in a frosty metal mixer-holder, very friendly owner and very very reasonable price. The Very Good rating is based on the value one gets at this charmiong diner. The owner welcomes and... More

The dated decor made me feel very at home, so I guess that dates me as well! Reminded me of my childhood and travelling with my folks. My dad always sought out places like this. Nothing fancy, but cheerful and friendly service, and great food. You really get a sense of the community gathering place the Red Goose has been... More

What makes this place stand out from all the others is the warm welcome you get when you walk through the door, and when you leave they give you a fond farewell as well. the food is the standard fare i have come to know around the city. Eggs, bacon hash browns toast and coffee. I have to say that... More

We live in the area and have been here few times. You are always greeted with a warm welcome. The restaurant is a holdover from the 60's with it's vinyl seats in the booths and dark paneling. The food is simple and basic for breakfast. My wife had an omelet, bu they used processed cheese and margarine on the hotcake.... More

A great place for breakfast, the food is home cooked and excellent. This is a non-assuming place to go, a bit hard to find but nesteld in a shopping strip in the Hazeldean area. Food was well priced, good and hot and it was a real treat to find this place.

This little restaurant looks like a diner from the 50's. It is run by Hang & Chong Lee, who will look after your every need. They serve breakfast all day, as well as diner food and some Korean dishes. The service and friendliness is wonderful! Everyone is greeted like a regular, and I felt immediately at home. My grandsons loved... More

We live nearby the Red Goose and have been meaning to try it for years, and this weekend we got our chance. Upon walking in we were greeted with a friendly hello, and asked to seat ourselves. We chose a table for two, not wanting to take up a table for four in case it got busier, and were encouraged... More

The moment you walk in the owner greets you with a cheery "Happy Day!". Owned and operated by the kindest, friendliest, husband and wife, they invite you in and mean it. The food is classic cafe fare of egg breakfasts, traditional western lunches, and a couple Chinese dishes. Wether you want some eggs and bacon, a soup and sandwich, or... More
