I celebrated my birthday at Kubuki and everyone enjoyed there meal. I ordered my favourites - deep fried tofu, avocado & inari sushi. I tried the seaweed salad and it was delicious and interesting. I would recommend the restaurant.

We ordered some sushi dishes. The sushi taste not really very fresh, just decent. Also, the taste is more on the fusion side, not genuinely Japanese taste (e.g. more like California roll style taste). The service is ok. Quiet restaurant too.
The traditional Japanese food is very fresh, tasty and well presented. They make an especially excellent miso soup. The restaurant is popular but in the busy, lively area of Strathcona it is nice to find a quiet restaurant.
