Our experience with Three Boars Eatery started with making a reservation. We wanted to take a reservation for 2 people at 5 pm which was the time that they open. The employee on the phone was friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to answer my questions about the gluten free options which sounded promising. When we arrived on the day... More

We came here as a start to a night out at 3 different cocktail bars. The bar doesn't look like much walking in, as it's quite small, but the bartender did a fantastic job. He brought our cocktails upstairs to us himself, explained what they were, and even took care to consider my nut allergy by not putting maraschino liquor... More

From the small, eclectic interior with wood everywhere to the small but extravagant menu, every detail is fun. A half dozen speciality cocktails on the menu of which we sampled four and they were exquisite blends of flavours. Beer and wine selections were also short but chosen with care by somebody paying attention to the details. And on to the... More

We visited here after having had dinner elsewhere with family. Cocktail list is small but inventive and of excellent quality. The knowledgeable staff can also offer off the menu choices for variety, with choices to suit any taste. Very friendly service in a modern atmosphere (relax and enjoy it!). Food items looked excellent and we look forward to returning to... More

My party of 3 tried seven dishes. My companions loved the rice cakes but they were too spicey for me. The mushrooms on toast were excellent, and included a variety of mushrooms. The wine selection was limited for my taste. The Oka tart was exquisite. The atmosphere is homey and warm. Lots of street parking. I'd go back and have... More

The greatest thing about this restaurant is it's staff, they are super accommodating (we had a large group, last minute to boot), friendly and knowledgeable. The food is also high quality and prepared pretty well. The atmosphere is also pretty funky and cool, tables and spacing are adequate. This being said, portions are surprisingly small and expensive (most people need... More

So if you aren't turned off by the 90s rap music blaring the N word and F bomb you may be turned off of the extremely slim amount of food you receive for $150+ dollars for 2 people. We left hungry and with bleeding ears.

We had sworn to wait a long time before returning to three boars after our last experience there was so disappointing. We decided to give it another shot last night and were happy to see they've brought back a whole section of the menu called tried and true which had several of the delicious items we had hoped to find!... Three Boars has been around for a bit now, and so when Ave magazine listed them in their 2016 picks ... it had to happen. Went with another adventurous couple, and we devoured the chicken liver bomb x2, Oka tarte, brussel sprouts, PBJ wings x2, Falafel salad, and I'm quite certain there were a number of other plates shared. ALL... More

First time visit to this restaurant so we were not sure what to expect. At first glance of the menu we questioned our choice. The server spent several minutes explaining the concept of the restaurant and then the items on the menu. We decided to give it a try and were pleasantly surprised. All menu items are meant to be...
