Made a tactical error. Ordered Halibut but could not see the ocean. Dry and boring. The "inspired" owners have not eaten this lately. There is a reason this place is half empty. Crab cakes tastes like grease and canned tuna. My wife's 17 dollar Greek...More

We were family group of 7 for dinner on a Sunday. Everyone enjoyed most of their meal. Of particular mention is the truffle gnocchi appetizer, the mains lamb chops and the dessert lemon custard. Three of us had the appetizer blue crab cake, but the...More

Alloy! Wow! I NEVER would have expected a place this good and this cool by turning off of MacLeod Trail. In the middle of what appears to be a warehouse district, there is a place with a massive cool factor, great food and a lively...More

Fabulous decor, a great menu, the beef short rib is to die for. Excellent service! Can see why this restaurant has been on the "best" of Calgary since it opened.

I guess I had high expectations for the food and service ... Lunch with business colleagues/friends where the food just didn't seem that great. I'm feeling disappointed.

My daughter wanted to take to a fine dining restaurant in Calgary on my resent visit. We went to Alloy only to be extremely disappointed. The menu did not have many non-shellfish options as my daughter has food allergies. The chicken was bland and the...More

We went for dinner right at opening at 5:00 pm. This worked well for a good table as it gets busy fast later. The menu is limited but all the choices are quite good and there is a daily special as well. The steak was...More

Been meaning to try Alloy for a while but I usually stick to the usual dining areas of Calgary (17th, Mission, Kensington, Inglewood). Finally had the opportunity was glad I did. Pleasant décor and I enjoy being seated at comfortable round half-banquette table. Enjoyed a...More

Not formal but it's generally not appropriate to wear jeans in the classier restaurants although a lot of people do.

There must be some confusion. Alloy Restaurant is a single story building and I do not understand the reference to the "pineapple building" or water parks. There is no water park in the vicinity of Alloy.
