We were here for a late lunch (2 pm) and were pleasantly surprised - the decor is neutral throughout, with quaint tables and wooden chairs. Many tea rooms have tables crammed together in a small space - this is not the case with The Dove's Nest. One can easily take off a coat or put one on, without going to... More

Just love having lunch here - Gail is the best! I am addicted to the scones with Devonshire cream - it's my drug of choice. The quiche is absolutely the best too. At least once per week and have not had enough yet.

The scones and devonshire cream here are my constant craving. I try to keep myself to only once per week. The service and atmosphere are great, and it doesn't hurt that I am usually one of the youngest people there. ;)

The Dove's Nest is one of my all time favourite places. The food is delicious and they offer some of the best Gluten Free options on the continent! The owner and staff take pride and care in creating a warm environment and delicious treats for customers. Us "girls" mom, grandma and I used to be regulars and now that grandma... More

Tad pricey if on a buget, right by heritage park and nice selection of loose teas, the one worker looked a tad like Helen Miren hehe

My partner and I were in Calgary recently for a brief getaway. While in town, we made it a point to try at least one High Tea. We selected the Dove's Nest based, in part, on the good reviews it's received on this site; and, I can say, without hesitation, we were not disappointed in our choice. First, a brief... More

The best quiche I have ever had, and I am not even fan of quiche. The scones with Devonshire cream are terrific. The service is great, the owner is very hospitable. We try to go once a week.

My sisters and I went to the Doves Nest in the Glenmore Landing, a strip mall in SW Calgary. It's a bit unexpected to find a tea room in a strip mall, but it's a wonderful surprise. We ordered herbal teas to go with our sandwiches, scones, and sweets, and they kept filling up our teapots as often as we'd... More

We made our regular visit to the Dove's Nest this last week of sandwiches and tea. We decided not to have the full High Tea this time as neither of us were hungry enough to eat all of that offering. The sandwiches were freshly made and delicious, the tea, hot and fragrant. We ended our meal with a scone with... More

My mum treated my girls (23 & 15) and me to high tea, it was a lovely experience. You may look at the platters when they first come out and think it's not much especially for the price but everything is made fresh to order and made in house. Believe me you are stuffed when finished....if you can finish! The... More
