K so... hear me out. Y'all can think I'm an a-hole but our servers name was Christian. He was very professional and formal and we enjoyed that but it felt like ordering from a robot. So Christian... please take this as constructive criticism and just...More

The appetizers at Tango were incredible and appropriately priced. I never knew devlied eggs could taste so good. I eagerly awaited the main course and so disappointed. The Lobster Gnocchi was HEAVY and rather tasteless. Most of our table ordered side vegetables only to find...More

Tango Bistro is amazing! We were a little underdressed in jeans and everyone else seemed to be dressed up. (Lots of buisness meetings it seemed). But tbe staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious. Everything comes in appetizer sizes so it's perfect...More

I wanted to say that our second visit exceeded our expectations. The pot au feu with the marrow bone was particularly excellent. The goat cheese appetizer was also very good. Shall return.

I haven't been to Tango since they revised their menu. I loved it before so the bar was set high. Tonight's meal EXCEEDED my expectations. The menu has some incredible choices - most of which can be made gluten free. It was hard to decide...More

My family met here for the unlimited bouillabaisse, bread and beignets. Amazing, well worth the $22/person charge. Service was fantastic and the food was excellent. The bouillabaisse was an authentic recipe with lots of real seafood, we were all impressed. The flavours were so great...More

I went here with a friend because we were in the mood for seafood and the menu had plenty. The ambiance and service was nice enough. We went on a Wednesday night and found it rather quiet - made reservations just in case. I had...More

One of our favorite places to go with friends has been Tango Bistro. Unfortunately they have changed their menu and no longer offer the small plate menu. Everything we ordered from the new menu was disappointing. (Steak Frites, Gnocchi ratatouille, some of the drinks). I...More

First time here. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. All the food we tried was quite good, if unexceptional. The $12.50 corkage fee is fantastic. We had escargot, Caesar salad, lobster gnocchi and steak frite, plus dessert. Really, absolutely no complaint with any of the items...More

We hadn't been to Tango in a while but looked forward to another Tapas experience. We were disappointed that they've changed the menu and no longer offer many small plates. It was Sunday so I tried the all you can eat bouillabaisse. It was very...More

Smuggler's Inn originally began in 1967 as Bar X Steakhouse, an American company. The current owner, Frank Krowicki, bought out his partners and went to work developing a brand new concept to Calgary. His vision included a mix of casual, late night fine dining and live piano bar. Over the years, the building expanded around Smuggler's Inn, with the addition of Winelite dining room on the west side, and Backstreet lounge and dining room on the north side. As the dining scene in Calgary began to change, Frank too saw a need to change and adapt. The first endeavour was the conversion of Backstreet lounge to Open Sesame in 2000. Open Sesame has been serving fresh, Pan Asian cuisine to happy customers ever since. The conversion of Backstreet dining room to Bolero was complete in 2007. As Calgary's first Brazilian style steakhouse, Bolero continues to satisfy meat lovers with its unique and interactive style of dining. Our latest addition is Tango Bistro, on the west side of the building, which once was Winelite dining room. At Tango Bistro, we bring together fresh, locally inspired comfort dishes with a focus on cold, sustainable seafood and top quality steaks. In May 2013, Smuggler's Inn celebrated 40 years of serving mouth-watering Alberta prime rib and steaks alongside many original items, which have made us famous around the world. Four restaurants under one roof keeps us busy, but we wouldn't have it any other way. And the rest, as they say, is history! Smuggler's Group Rewards is a unique program that rewards you every time you visit us. For every dollar you spend, you earn points towards FREE Loyalty Certificates from Smuggler's Group Of Restaurants. Whenever you make a purchase, simply present your Smuggler's Group Rewards Card. We will automatically track your purchases and assign points to your membership. For every 200 points you accumulate, you will accumulate, you will automatically receive a $10 loyalty certificate to redeem on your next visit. There is no charge or fee associated with the Smuggler's Group Rewards Program. Just fill out the application, turn it in to us, and start using it right away.
